Joyful and Enlightening Experience.
A real "Must do" for any visitor to Brasil. An unforgettable experience for me and my wife. We have traveled a lot, at several interesting places of the world, never got such a welcome reception from the owner of the business, Mr. Roberio and his daughter Lisa, which really made us feel embraced and welcome. Our guide Max, a very knowledgeable young biologist, gave us a comprehensive view of the history and changes of the São Francisco River, the biggest truly Brazilian River, source of live for more than a quarter part of the Brazilian population. The several parts of the tour, including a ten miles navigation along the São Franciso up to its mouth. the possibility to swim in the tepid waters, do parasailing (optional), dune sliding, the beautiful scenic, the unbelievable sunset are, each and every one of them, fantastic experiences.

Thrilling experience (buggy/dune skiing/boat tour) conducted by biome experts
Excellent experience - Roberio and his team made this experience excepcional!! We did the boat and buggy / dune skiing tour named Rota Dourada Plus. This is a safe and well crafted experience, with biome information and packed with emotion. Our family age ranged from 76 to 10 yo and all of us enjoyed a lot.

Mouth of São Francisco River by Buggy
Getting to the point where the São Francisco River meets the sea by buggy is much more exciting than doing it by boat. I went to Alagoas, Piaçabuçu and there, at Pontal do Peba, I got a ride in a buggy operated by Farol da Foz Ecoturismo (www.faroldafozecoturismo.com). The buggy goes through the sand of the seashore and Roberio (the guy who owns the company) explains us the environment of the place while he drives. The beach is wonderful and when you reach the encounter with the river, the buggy stops for one hour so that you can swim in the river and/or in the sea. You also have the option of a ride in a parachute!
