Great tour

The catamaran tour was great and our guide called “Perereca” was funny and gave us a lot of local information about the place. You can take a bath in sea and in the famous river São Francisco.

Unforgettable and worthwhile trip to Foz São Francisco
We rented a boat to visit Foz São Francisco. We departed from a great restaurant just on the AL101, Canto do Boca, where they rent the boat. Got small snacks and drinks for the tour which was great. The tour takes you to the end of the São Francisco river which is definitely worthwhile. We jumped from the roof of the boot into the cool river water and rolled from the sand dunes. Great experience!

    Magnificent beauty
This is where the Sao Francisco River meets the Atlantic Ocean. The area is surounded by fine golden sand dunes and palm trees, also natural lagoons. It's beauty is undescribable. From the top of the mountain sand dune, you'll see the ocean on one side, and the crystal clear water of the river on the other side, also a natural lagoon down below in the middle. You can bathe in the lagoon and the river which are close to where the boat docks, but to get to the ocean ir's a far walk on the sand. The boat ride there on the Sao Francisco River is beautiful. There are natives at the island that sells hand made souveniers and their sweet delicacies, also beverages It's a full day tour, including transportation to and from hotel, boat ride, buffet lunch on return from the island. Very reasonably priced. Must have a camera, or else you'll regret it. Also a hat, bathing suit, towel, sandals and bottled water The sand is extremely hot on the sand dunes, which makes walking barefoot unberable.
