The is one of major landmark of Sungai Petani located on the main street. Jalan Ibrahim. The clock tower was built in 1936 and it is 12.1 m in height. The history of this building as a present from Lim Lean Teng to George V and Queen Mary to commemorate the Silver Jubilee. So you can have a quick look and take a photo when there isn't too much traffic around it. One of new tourist spot good for family visit to Ladang Madu Kelutut Ori. That is a fun and leisure place for kids and parent. In the bee farm also have some rare species bird and goat. For sure that is new experience for the kids who stay at big city that they never saw it all in life. The bee farm are highly recommended for who travel to Alor Setar and it's free admission as well.See more..

The place situated near SP landmark, Jam Besar. As been developed last 5 years, there are numerous changing time by time by supporting of MPSP. Good place to relax at night, chatting and walking. LED light is all over the place. Ots also a place for big events which related to goverment agencies. You can park near the parking lot which cost around RM1.50 and walking to this area. This is a unique Siamese buddhist temple with some of its walls and roofs adorned with many glass bottles. It is great to see the glass bottles re-used in this manner.
