A great environment to teach children about the mangrove ecosystem. We took the 2 hrs tour that covers bat cave, crocodile cave, Eagle feeding, fish farm (a chance to feed stingray) and cruise from the mangrove river estuary leading to the Andaman sea. Advice - do not eat any seafood at the fish farm restaurant as the prices are exorbitant. Its daylight robbery prices.See more..
Worth a visit if you are in Kulim or Butterworth area. Structure is solid and sturdy, not the hanging type. Safe for young children and doesnt require any special gear as such. Our 5yo needed a bit of coaxing and support to get initial fear due to the height but she was fine after about halfway through. Our 2yo was happily walking the walk on his own - no handholding required, from the get go. There is a small stream that you pass by before the entrance bit we did not have time to check it out. Travelling there has to be by car as no public transport. Enjoy!See more..
