We were brought here as part of the island hopping tour by a speed boat and got an hour to spend as we wished until the boat came to pick us up. A nice walk through the Dayang Bunting Marble Geo-Forest Park lead us to this beautiful freshwater lake. You will see many monkeys up close while u walk but if you don't pay much attention and walk past them, they will not harass you and your belongings.There are paddle boats to rent out for RM15 per 30 mins and its very relaxing to admire the environment from the lake since you are away from the crowd. I also payed RM5 and got a life jacket when i was getting into the water but you are advised not to get into the water from the boat, only from the platform.
