    Last week I did a tour with Enrico and Tobias from Zeitreise Seelower Hoehen / www.histograf.de about the last WWII major battle before Berlin, the battle of the Seelower Hoehen / Seelow Heights. It was the second tour for me, I did one last year and because it was so interesting I went back this year. And I was not disappointed, again very interesting to hear and see on the spot how this fearsome battle to stop the russian Army went. I have already done several battle tours in Europe but these were the best. So if you are in Berlin or in the area, then this is easy to combine with a tour. Or travel there just like me for the very interesting history and beautiful environment. I will go there again next year, that's for sure. Just contact them you will not regret it!     We did a half day tour to Potsdam with Johannes. It was like having a friend show you around. We drove from Berlin to and thru Potsdam. Stopped at several of the palaces and parks. The trip took about 6 or 7 hours and was probably the most informative tour we took during our two week trip to Germany. Johannes has about 18 different tours available and while we did only one, I would highly recommend him. See more..

    Ein ehemaliger Verladehafen und tolles Ausflugsziel oder als Zwischenstation auf einer Radtour entlang der Oder. Aussergewöhnliches Ambiente! Neben der ehemaligen Hafenanlage mit Waggons zum Uebernachten und der Gastronomie gibt es so viele Kleinigkeiten zu entdecken.
