Great visit to Potsdam
We did a half day tour to Potsdam with Johannes. It was like having a friend show you around. We drove from Berlin to and thru Potsdam. Stopped at several of the palaces and parks. The trip took about 6 or 7 hours and was probably the most informative tour we took during our two week trip to Germany. Johannes has about 18 different tours available and while we did only one, I would highly recommend him.

Wonderful tour with a wonderful guide
Have you ever been to a city and just wished you were friends with someone who would show you the ins and outs of a place, who also knew the history? This is the tour for you. Mr. Westerkamp made us instantly comfortable, was knowledgeable, courteous and a pleasure. Really. It was like being new best friends with a history buff who wanted to show you his home. He accommodated us and our one year old son with no complaints while giving us an amazing tour from Berlin through Wannsee and Potsdam (We booked through getyourguide.com). The second you get going the tour begins with interesting facts about all the sites you pass. We travel a lot and I can tell you without a doubt that this was one of the best tours I have ever been on. I was sad that we had this booked on our last day before leaving Germany because I would have loved to have booked his other tours as well. If you are thinking of booking a tour in Berlin, Dresden or Potsdam you should absolutely book with Terra Incognita.

Johannes was a great guide
We were thrilled with our day trip to Dresden. Johannes who runs Terra Incognita picked us up at our hotel, and dropped us back there too. We had a wonderful day. He was informative, considerate, and crafted the tour according to our interests. We even visited the Meissen Porcelain factory on our way back once he realized we were interested in it. All his suggestions were spot on - the masterpieces at the New Green Vault in Dresden were amazing. If you are thinking of booking a day trip from Berlin, and would like to craft it to your personal tastes, I would highly recommend Johannes Westerkamp (Terra Incognita Tours).
