   I went on the "Best of Khao Sok" tour and have only good things to tell. From the punctual pick up to the very friendly, knowledgeable and multi-lingual (Thai, as you would expect, English and German) guide, the whole day was very well organized and great fun. In a small group of only seven, we were transferred by minibus to the Khao Sok National Park. On the way and throughout the day our guide Peera gave plenty of information about the national park, nature, wildlife, etc. We were paddled down a river in comfortable kayaks for about an hour. This was my favorite part, so tranquil, scenic and relaxing! After a short transfer, we then boarded a long tail boat which drove us around the Khao Sok lake, which is truly beautiful, plenty of photo opportunities! After lunch on a floating restaurant, we had some time to swim in a secluded and quiet bay before heading back to land. With a quick stop at a look out we made our way back to Khoa Lak.    The most amazing place, and extremely fair pricing for tickets. We met the most knowing, kind and friendly man, who told us about the work they are doing with the turtles.     We spent half a day at Thap Lamu Sea turtle conservation and were humbled at the enthusiasm and dedication of Mr Jimmy and his crew. From 1 week old babies to older, disabled turtles they look after and care for all with the same love and attention. A visit here is highly recommended if you love turtles or even if you're looking for something to do on a rainy day. A couple of things i'd like to point out; 1 - Don't be put off by the fact it is situated inside the Thai Naval base compound. You'll need to bring along photo I.D. (passport, driver's license) which you leave at the main gate with the guards but they are very friendly and helpful. 2 - Do try to get a guided tour rather than walking around by yourself...Mr Jimmy is super knowledgeable in all things Turtle related and is one of life's good guys. 3 - The entrance fee is only 60 Baht but please also put something in the donations box...it all goes towards food and medicine for the turtles.     Medsye staffs were great and took good care of us. The speedboat was in good condition with 3 engines so it was very fast. And plenty of lunch were provided. While the day-trip does not run to schedule (as many have pointed out), we felt that the tour was organized sufficiently good to allow us to enjoy the island. We have been on many island tours, and they rarely run to schedule. We would certainly use Medsye again in the future. See more..

    I played four rounds here while visiting friends in Khao Lak. I like the course it is very varied and challenging. Others have said that the greens and fairways are poor. I don't entirely agree, however the type of grass means you only get what you hit with little run. Not ideal for a links golfer like myself. What nobody seems to mention is that the views, particularly 17 and 18 along the beach are magnificent. We played early afternoon so that we were just finishing before sunset. Amazing.     Nous avons contacté Jack Similan Travel par téléphone avant notre voyage en Thaïlande pour réserver un tour de snorkeling de 2 jours aux Îles Similan avec hébergement sur l'île. Le taxi entre notre hôtel et le point de départ du tour était compris dans le prix.
    
    Lors de notre voyage, le taxi qui est venu nous chercher nous a déposés chez Check-in Andaman, un autre prestataire, et non chez Jack Similan Travel. En discutant avec les personnes de Check-in Andaman, nous comprenons que Jack Similan Travel n'est en fait qu'une agence qui revend les tours d'autres prestataires de voyage. Or ce n'est pas du tout ce qui est indiqué sur le site web de Jack Similan Travel, et personne ne nous l'a indiqué lors de nos échanges téléphoniques et email !
    
    En discutant avec les autres passagers, nous nous rendons compte que nous avons payé autour de 1500 bahts plus cher que ceux qui ont directement contacté Check-in Andaman, pour un service entièrement identique au final.
    
    Le voyage avec Check-in Andaman était super et je laisserai un avis séparé pour eux. Cet avis concerne uniquement Jack Similan Travel et leur procédé que je trouve réellement malhonnête. See more..
