We went on a wonderful Island Hopping tour. The longtail boat was the most luxurious around, with comfortable seats and good shade if needed. Our guide Guest spoke perfect English and knew so much, we learned a lot. And even with all the boat traffic he knew a place we could have a quite secluded lunch on the beach. Our day trip with Zaidy Travel far exceeded our expectations. Communication via WhatsApp prior to the tour was quick and easy. Pick-up from our hotel, lunch and refreshments, and all entrance fees were included. Our guide, Kai, was extremely kind and knowledgeable - not only was he our long-tail boat captain, but also our private photographer! The tour included several islands where we could snorkel, swim, relax, and explore, as well as a visit to a local lobster farm. Everything was catered to our pace; because it was a private tour, there was flexiblity in the itinerary. And, the cost was less than 1/5th that offered at our hotel. I was on 4 Islands Discovery trip on July 2019. I booked this trip from website. The bookking was smooth and easy. They pick up us from our resort and the staff was polite and helpfull. We took the treditional long tail-boat it was great experienced. The wheather was nice and we got 2 times snorkeling in the clear water, swimming in the lagoon was fantastic. We landing on the islands and enjoy relax on white sand beach. The boat man was so nice. I would like to recommend this trip. See more..

On the main road from 7 Eleven direction Coco Beach on the left hand side. Stop at the sign Tourist Information or Laanmaye Restaurant and ask for Ismael. He speaks 5 languages and will show you his pineapple plantation, rubber trees and much more. All for free!! In his restaurant..the juices and food are heavenly. Do not miss this spectacular view, a 5 minute walk uphill. Not a very good idea withflipflops, however doable. See more..

Had a great experience with Elixir Divers. Went diving with them rather spontaneously on six dives (3 days). The team including the dive masters (Tomas, Kamila, Martina) and the boat crew were super professional. The made sure everybody was save and had a good time. As this is the only dive shop on the island, prices are on the higher end; nevertheless, the dive spots make up for it with the abundance of fish. The team also does a full service job, switching tanks and preparing your equipment (personally I am not a fan of that, but I know some people expect it and it adds a layer of safety for less experienced divers). Furthermore, they helped the girlfriend and me by organizing an island hopping trip on very short notice (night before). The trip was great and very well organized. Captain Bao (not sure if spelled that way) was just pure awesomeness. See more..

Wow, where do I start.. This guy who runs this business is brilliant, we had private trip to Phi Phi which was amazing, took us to Maya beach, snorkling in lagoons and feeding monkies on monkey island- I broke my phone whilst on the tour, was pretty gutted as I was using it for photos, not a problem as the main guy took photos throughout on his ipad for us and emailed them over so we still had the memories.. We stayed in Santyhia hotel and he was so much cheaper - he made brilliant thai food for picnics and never felt rushed in anyway Many times we bumped into him around the island when we was visiting places on scooters, one time we hit a tropical rain shower and got shelter under a tree, he spotted us and drove back with towels and rain macks - what a great guy... we also did the ATV tour which was fantastic and would highly recommend to use this guy.. Great white sand beach, plenty of room for everyone has forest behind, two luxury resorts, an original rasta bar, friendly staff and from the bar we enjoyed a wonderful sunset in the lounge chairs. Clean beach on the side of the luxury resorts, in the centre of the beach some trash. I can consider this beach very clean compared to all the previous ones we passed, in general this island is significantly clean. Every day I go swimming and do the beach from one side to the other which is almost 1000m. Sea temperature between 25° to 28°...wonderful. The sea is very salty and you can float very well. The company was very responsive and accommodating. I like how we could easily reach them on WhatsApp (I asked them a bunch of questions prior to our trip). We used their airport transfer service (shuttle + boat) to get to Koh Yao Yai. Once we got to the island, we booked a long tail boat tour with them to visit phang nga. The driver and boat driver were really funny and awesome. They spoke English well and were some of the friendliest people we've met. Will definitely book with them next time we go to koh yao yai. They also provided fresh fruits and lunch boxes during the tour (they were delicious). See more..

About 30 min ride from Santhiya resort to Laem haad beach. the best time to chill out here is 1pm to 2pm because of low tide (local tour guy told us). The route to this location was not easy to find, however just ride slow and notice the sign board. Along the beach is quite windy, you can feel the sand is 'blasting' your leg as you walk down. We been here in mid September, is raining season, but lucky we got a sunny day when visit the beach. very nice place to take photo. See more..

First trip booked through hotel and we got a young guide named Chai. He was very patient and understanding with our young girls and went out of his way to make the kayaking and trip interesting for the kids. adjusted the day to suit us, including a stop at a friends house for the kids to use the toilet. We felt very lucky to experience a real local Thai home. Second trip I booked directly through Chai while Kayaking. Did Island hopping. Was great as there were no time limits for any of the stops and once the kids were exhausted we just headed back. Easy to communicate with Chai and he even sent us some photos on whats ap the next day. See more..
