-Nazca lines flight with luxery bus transportation from lima
Friday: 6:00 AM - 10:00 PM Cultural Tours • Sightseeing Tours • Private Tours • Air Tours • Day Trips
From start to finish Carlos was on top of everything from collecting me from my hotel to putting me on the correct overnight luxury bus & keeping in contact with me via WhatsApp throught my going & coming back. And a bonus Carlos speaks very good English. Juan was at nazca waiting for me & I did a optional 3 hour tour with viewing towers for $40usd or 150 Peruvian soles well worth doing. The flight was very professional kiara the very pretty co pilot explained what we was going to do in english & spanish & promted each side of the plane when to take the photos. I loved everything about this trip, please don't be put off by the 7 hour bus journey, the seats are very comfortable and recline for a good night's sleep. I want to say a very big thank you to all the team at get2peru.com for a fantastic tour. Thanks Andy See more..
- 5.0 Great Nazca Tours (225 reviews)
-Nazca Lines Flight
Friday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Sightseeing Tours • Private Tours • Air Tours • Archaeology Tours
We booked a flight over the Nazca lines with Great Nazca Tours and were picked up from the bus terminal and driven to our hostel by an excellent guide called Oscar, even though our flight reservation was for the following day. He picked us up the following morning and drove us to the small airport from which the planes depart. He handled everything and guided us through the process in the airport. He gave a detailed explanation of the significance of the lines as well as the history of the area before the flight, which helped tremendously. After the flight he drove us back to the hostel. Overall Oscar is a very punctual, passionate, talkative, and knowledgeable guide, whom we can only highly recommend. See more..
- 5.0 Sam Travel Experiences (174 reviews)

Friday: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM City Tours • Multi-day Tours • Cultural Tours • Distillery Tours • Historical & Heritage Tours • Taxis & Shuttles • Private Tours • Nature & Wildlife Tours • Wine Tours & Tastings • Archaeology Tours • Day Trips
This tour was by far the one of the most memorable experiences. Sam was lovely and gave us all the information we wanted and answered all our questions, both in english and in spanish. Despite it being a jam-packed day, 2hr drive to the lines, it didnt feel rushed and we were given options on where to eat and even an extra lil look at the museum with the mummies! Finishing the day with the buggie rides is a must, seeing the sun go down on the sand dunes was stunning. Thank you so much for the memories, we wil treasure them. See more..
- 5.0 Paracas es Aventura (173 reviews)
-Unique experiences
Friday: 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM Parasailing & Paragliding • 4WD, ATV & Off-Road Tours • Surfing & Windsurfing • Boat Tours • Walking Tours
Great company that provides informative, and unique tours. We recommend using Paracas es Adventura for the Golden Shadows Trek one of the best we have done on our travels in Peru. You get collected at 3:30pm and take a mini bus to the park, remember to have some cash to pay your 11,000 soles for the park entry. You walk along the beach and up the sand dunes to a stunning viewpoint, where you watch the sunset and see the gorgeous after glow. See more..
- 5.0 Huacachina Tours SAC (138 reviews)
-Amazing experience
Friday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM 4WD, ATV & Off-Road Tours • Sightseeing Tours • Hiking & Camping Tours • Private Tours • Nature & Wildlife Tours
We did both the beach buggy, sand boarding and glamping. The first part was fun and seemed like the standard everyone does, the glamping however was amazing, the campsite was very well decorated and was so cozy and welcoming. The food and wine was great and when the lights was turned down, the stars were covering the sky. My only suggestions would be a beer/drink for the sunset part, but might be to shaken up from the ride. Remember a battery to charge phones etc, there is a plug at camp, but nothing in the tents. Everyone at the company was helpful, flexible and kind. See more..
- 5.0 Tony SandRider (130 reviews)
-Tony is the BEST OPTION for sand-boarding!
Friday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM 4WD, ATV & Off-Road Tours • Hiking & Camping Tours
This was absolutely the best thing we did in Peru so far. Tony gave us a very authentic and custom tailored experienced that was unmatched. His English was great so that was helpful for me. He and Johnny gave us tips and made us feel comfortable when conquering the sand dunes. They took great go pro footage of us and capped it off with an amazing isolated sunset. If I could give Tony 10 stars I would. I recommend Tony to anyone and everyone visiting the dunes/huacachina See more..
- 5.0 SandSnow School (76 reviews)
-A must do if you are in Peru!
Friday: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM Adrenaline & Extreme Tours
Though this location is out of the way, it is a must do. I ended up renting a car and driving to Ica just for the day to do this excursion. I have to say the customer service from Rossana was spectular as she was prompt on answering my emails and sending me my pictures after the excursion. My guide Gerson Valle was so nice! I am a beginner snowboarder, and he was so attentive to me and giving me tips, as I needed them. Though others in my group were more advanced, he did not forget about me and really encouraged me when I thought I couldn't do the big dunes. I highly recommend this company and working with Rossana and Gerson!! See more..
- 5.0 Peruvian Sand Adventure (75 reviews)
-Incredible moment
Friday: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM 4WD, ATV & Off-Road Tours
Amazing moment with Gerson in the sand dunes of Huacachina. We are three friends that took the sand surfing option and Gerson took the time to teach us, we practiced and saw the sunset back in the desert. Plus he took pictures and videos that will make incredible souvenirs. Just try it !! Merci Gerson See more..

-Absolutely recommendable
Friday: 9:00 AM - 7:30 PM Multi-day Tours • Distillery Tours • Private Tours • Nature & Wildlife Tours • Wine Tours & Tastings • Day Trips
We booked vineyard tour, dune buggy tour and the nasca flight. All three excursions were amazing, we had so much fun. Everything was very well organised, we even got picked up at our hotel. We were driven to Nasca and they were so friendly to let us store our luggage and spend the time before our night bus arrived at their premises. Thanks again to Brayan, Mikol and Ruth and all other colleagues. We had a very special time. See more..
- 4.5 Nasca Lines (3.224 reviews)
-Lines of Nasca is an amazing site to see
Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Spent More than 3 hours Points of Interest & Landmarks
We stopped long the South Pan-American highway, paid 6 Soles to climb the tower to view the amazing Lines of Nasca in the desert or figures that were created over 2000 years ago. Also called Geoglyphs. Made by removing large dark stones from surface of the desert and exposing light sand. From here we could see a lizard about 189 meters in length. The view is okay but there are so many figures the best way to see all of them is by plane which you can take from Pisco for much larger fee of course. It was designated a UNESCO site in December 1994. You must stop here and see this. See more..

-Never knew about this--very interesting
Points of Interest & Landmarks
This is a great little stop on the way out to the birding islands. The captain stopped for us to admire it and contemplate the effort to make it. The bird activity was impressive. You can see this from a long way out in the ocean. It had to have some navigational implications. See more..
- 4.5 Buggy Huacachina (607 reviews)
-Was fun
Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM 4WD, ATV & Off-Road Tours • Adrenaline & Extreme Tours • Private Tours
When you arrive in Agua China, you will be pressed to purchase balaclavas for the adventure to keep sand out of face/mouth. Pending wind, you will likely not need. Regardless, shop around as you can purchase for 5 s. each if you barter enough. We purchased 3. The trip in the dune buggy was very fun. Very safe as long as you do strap in the seat tight. The sand boarding was very fun as well and not as fast as I thought. We did some very steep hills with half the buggy occupants backing out on 2 of the hills because of height. Do all the hills, Betsy easy to do. Enjoy it, do all the hills, enjoy the sunset. See more..
- 4.5 Paracas National Reserve (577 reviews)

- 4.5 Oasis of Huacachina (515 reviews)
-Pisco and Huacachina
Bodies of Water
We had a great private day trip with our guide Evy! First stop was pisco distillery for a tour and tastings, second stop a winery for lunch, and third stop Huacachina! Ica is a long distance from Lima so I can’t stress enough how nice it was to travel in a personal car versus a bus with multiple people! I personally thought Huacachina oasis itself was underwhelming and the sand dunes seemed to be the main attraction but the day as a whole was fun. If you aren’t interested in buggy rides/sand boarding it’s probably not worth going here. Evy was extremely accommodating and easy to talk to! If considering visiting Huacachina would recommend booking it with Exploor. See more..

- 4.5 Cahuachi (462 reviews)
-Well before the Inca civilization
Ancient Ruins
Well before the Inca Civilization the Nazca people built their pyramids along the Nazca River in the desert, from the only material available, mud, sand and water. This huge ceremonial site (dating back to 100-300 AD) is a relatively new discovery, most of it is rebuilt, but it is still under reconstruction. Has not been a major attraction but it is getting more and more popular among tourists who want to learn about Peru's rich history. It is remote, you'll need a good local guide to take you there, wear sun protection and have plenty water. The approximately 100000 sq feet adobe pyramid's area is a great place to see and even touch the the almost 2000 year old artifacts scattered in the sand, and ponder about their lifestyle and beliefs. You should allow 3-4 hours for this excursion. See more..
- 4.5 Playa Roja (380 reviews)
-Quite unique
Beaches
We cycled from Paracas town, and this was our journey end. Stunning views of different colured sandstones overlooking the sea. See more..
- 4.5 Paracas Nature Reserve (350 reviews)
-landscapes of desert meets sea
Deserts
We stopped here on a day trip from Lima, and I'm glad we did. This was an interesting kind of ecosystem to see, even if it wasn't a highlight of our trip. There was a small museum not far inside the entrance which has some nice diagrams describing the biological & geological history of the area. I recommend skipping the cheesy film, though. From there, you can walk down to see flamingos, but visitors are not allowed very close, so they're barely visible without binoculars or telephoto lens. Still pretty cool. A drive around the reserve gets you to a couple of lookout points for some beautiful landscape views. I believe you can swim at some of the beaches. See more..

- 4.5 Nazca Flights (245 reviews)
-World class experience
Friday: 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM Private Tours • Air Tours
We booked a tour from Lima to Nazca to fly over the lines around 6 months in advance. The entire time the communication with Jon, the manager of the company was excellent. We drove with a small impeccable bus from Lima (driven amazingly by Juan Carlos), then we took the plane over the lines and in the end paid a visit to Paracas National Reserve. The Cessna pilot did an amazing job, making sure everyone gets to see the lines. Man, from start to finish the whole experience was wow, 10/10. Thank you Jon and whole team, Nazca Flights set the bar really high! See more..

-Sand dunes, boarding, evening
Friday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM City Tours • Distillery Tours • 4WD, ATV & Off-Road Tours • Adrenaline & Extreme Tours • Private Tours
Great time, they took care of all the details, drive to take us from the hotel to the dune buggy driver, the dune buggy drive was fun and took us down big drops and sharp turns. We stopped a couple times to take photos, and stopped to go down on sand boards a couple of times. The. The drive dropped us off on the top of the dune over the hotel , we just sat and watched the stars ✨ come out, then eventually made walked our way back to the hotel. Would definitely use them again. - 4.5 Planetario Maria Reiche (79 reviews)
-Amazing
Observatories & Planetariums
We had the chance to get the tip from a taxi driver and he was right. For 20 soles each, we enjoyed watching planets and stars with lots of information in French about it. Then we watched a movie who was explaining the nazca lines and it was very interesting and helpful. I would recommand anyone to go before to flight over the lines because that would help you understand. The guide was absolutely nice and with a great French ! See more..
