Lines of Nasca is an amazing site to see
We stopped long the South Pan-American highway, paid 6 Soles to climb the tower to view the amazing Lines of Nasca in the desert or figures that were created over 2000 years ago. Also called Geoglyphs. Made by removing large dark stones from surface of the desert and exposing light sand. From here we could see a lizard about 189 meters in length. The view is okay but there are so many figures the best way to see all of them is by plane which you can take from Pisco for much larger fee of course. It was designated a UNESCO site in December 1994. You must stop here and see this.

Splendid experience don’t let nerves stop You
What an experience! Flew with Air Majoro in July’22, we got the first flight out. Took the plane ride with wife and two daughters 15 and 16. Pilot and co-pilot were really friendly, the ride itself was spectacular but never nauseating. I think if you are the kind of person who enjoys a good rollercoaster ride you will find this perfectly fine. Was nervous as hell to begin with but as soon the plane lifted off the nerves disappeared and we enjoyed the magic of the mystery that is the Nasca lines. We almost did not do it - were a bit worried after reading reviews of people saying it is nauseating. I suppose it depends what you are used to. Also bit nervous that a plane crashed a few months earlier with some Dutch people on board. But hey, waking up in the morning is a risk and the planes are landing and taking off continuously. I looked at the pilot and co-pilot and figured for them it is ‘just another day at the office’. I imagine the bus rides around Peru are more dangerous!
