   Fantawild Dreamland was a great theme park for me and my 6 year old who was a bit tired of natural parks and foreign food. It was a weekday and the park was empty which was great as there were no lines and we went in everything multiple times. We had never heard of the Boonie Bears before the trip to China but now they are a favourite. The attractions are comparable to Disneyland Hong Kong. All rides were in Mandarin but we did not care.    It's extremly difficult to move inside the park without local guide.You can miss must see points.Also nobody inside the park know English.I saw only dozen of foreign tourists for 2 days!!! On the other side you move in crouds of noisy locals visitors. One day isn't enough-wheather could change every hour.It was rain during my first day and I saw nothing due to fog and shower.    If you are tired of over-commercialization in China's old towns (Fenghuang, Pingyao, Zhouzhuang...) then this is the place for you. It has no entrance fee, there's plenty of traditional architecture and the village shops serve locals rather than tourists (excluding a couple of cafes and guesthouses). Old Mao posters add to the atmosphere. However, there are signs of change: there are now signs providing explanations in front of key buildings, and I encountered a couple of tour groups. I'm not sure how this place will look in another few years.. It's well worth spending the night here, I found a clean and inexpensive guesthouse soon after arriving. See more..

Only 5 km from Fenghuang City but visit off peak to avoid equally spectacular traffic jams! The tour takes 2 hours at a brisk pace and is not for the unfit - 5km and lots of staircases. There is no English language audio, so non-Mandarin speakers will have to put up with the usual blaring tour guide and some English language displays.     This Wind-and-Rain (Fengyu) covered bridge across the Wushui River is said to date to 1591. Over the centuries, it has undergone many changes. During the Second Sino-Japanese War, it was destroyed by Japanese aircraft, but rebuilt after 1945 with periodic markets held along it. Most recently, in 1999, the bridge was rebuilt with a cement understructure and an expansive wooden superstructure. With a length of 146.7meters, 12.2 meters wide and a central pedestrian route that is 5.8meters wide, the covered bridge has been transformed into a lively market for Dong and Miao minority groups. Inside there are. approximately 100 market stalls that provide virtually everything that locals require. There are even several dentists 'offices' that are open air so that passersby can see what is being done to patients.     I came here in the afternoon with a Chinese friend. At first it didn't seem too interesting but then we joined the tour in Chinese which started at about 3.30pm which brought the place to life. The guide took us to the most interesting aspects from the history of the town to the modern day, as well as turning on the interactive displays: a city model light show, a flying experience (over the city) and a 3D movie about Zhuzhou complete with moving chairs.     As most villages and remote places are still populated with lots and lots of people, this is the only proper remote village I went to in all of China! Only a few hundred local people live here, all the rest are Chinese tourists during winter time. It is so nice. I walked up the mountain in 1.5 hours. This is a must in January, the most speculator place I went to in WINTER in China! They don't get a lot of western tourists but it's amazing!     我去过很多地方旅游，欣赏过很多美景，但有一个地方我认为是非常美大自然景观——古宅水库。那里山水秀丽，目前还没有被开发成旅游景点。气候宜人，有最源头最好最清澈的水质，有很多野生珍贵的动植物......我认为这里是湖南江永最宜人的休闲娱乐之地，来这游玩做船游水库，是必不可少的！在那里还可以钓鱼（基本每天都有人开车进去钓鱼，水库里有很多鱼，野生草鱼有30-40斤一条的）；烧烤（一边赏美景，一边吹着水库清风，一边吃着自己拿手的烤肉串喝着小啤酒，那叫一个爽）；伐竹船（可以锻炼身体，学习伐船技巧）；爬山（可以抓山谷里的野生鱼，青蛙，还可以摘野果子）......推荐！推荐！推荐！值得一去 See more..

    金洞漂流还是有一点危险性，全程12.1公里，落差有80多米。需要人多才好玩，也是个体力活，呵呵，要不断地把充气艇内的水舀出去，防止超重覆舟。打水战特好玩：素不相识的人们互相挑衅，打起了水仗。一下子很多船，泼水声、吆喝声、嘻笑声响成一团，热闹非凡。
