I loved this walk. Super easy and walking next to the stream was nice. My boys all had a dip in the spring mountain water but it was cold? ! Easy peasy walk, all flat. You walk next to the stream. We started our walk at the Oxygen Bar place, this walk can also connect you to the actual Avatar walk. You need to take the steps up but it’s all well signposted. We well kept, clean and has places to buy food and drinks. There are lots of monkeys too so be aware !See more..

4.0Li River(5 reviews) - Li River cruise Bodies of Water • Points of Interest & Landmarks Well this was a typical river cruise but this time on the river Li in China On board the state run vessel we found the facilities ok with plenty of room to move around with typical Chinese style toilets - (that's a hole in the floor) there are plenty of staff to look after you, the commentary was fine albeit the girls first language was Chinese and it was difficult to understand some of here English explanations but that aside she did a good job and it was laudable. With lots of opportunity to purchase beverages the lunch was again as you might expect typically Chinese and in my opinion not for the faint hearted - top tip have a good breakfast before you board... Overall worth going on and great picture opportunities to be had on the 4 hour trip. See more..

The Boyue caves are located around ten minutes from the city by taxi or bus. They are situated above the city and there is a small amusement park with a few rides, go karts and carnival style stalls as well as the standard KTV. There is also a nice BBQ site nearby. The caves themselves are spectacular despite the grotto style lighting, it takes around an hour to walk through the caves, it is necessary to have a guide to take you through the caves, none of the guides speak a word of English, but that is standard for Lengshuijiang. It costs 70rmb to enter the caves, so it is cheap and definitely worth a visit.See more..

Songya lake is one of the bigger lake in changsha. This is a wild place not far for the city were it is possible to meet some water wildlife. There are a 10km pedestrian and bike road all around the lake, for the pleasure of sport practicers for biking and jogging. There are also many places were it is possible to rent bikes for: 1 , 2, 3 or even more passagers... 2 white sand beaches have been build in the northern part of the lake, but to avoid during week-end unless to appreciate very busy places. It take 2 hours to walk around the lake or less than 1 hour with a bike. A nice place to find fresh air.See more..
