Back on dry land, you’ll find tropical escapes in the Daintree Rainforest to the north, rugged outback to the west and alfresco dining on the Gold Coast in the south. South East Queensland boasts mountain views, vineyards and ‘river city’ Brisbane.

-Ocean Rafting- you are the Best!!
Sunday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Scuba & Snorkelling • Boat Tours • Nature & Wildlife Tours • Speed Boats Tours
What an awesome experience. Smooth sailing from the time of booking til the arrival back at the Marina Tom the driver was courteous and numerous and set the tone for the rest of the day. Taylor and Jess were amazing on the raft and at our stops to snorkel. The lunch on Whitehaven Beach was great. The walk to the lookout was . worth the trek and the views were breath taking. The trip back from the reef was entertaining with crew and passengers singing along the the music. I highly recommend Ocean Rafting if you looking for a fun day out. Thanks Tom, Taylor and Jess for a fun filled day. . You are a credit to your company. See more..
- 5.0 Whitsunday Jetski Tours (4.525 reviews)
-OMG
Sunday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM Waterskiing & Jetskiing
What a great experience, Jarrod literally the most patient guy in the world as I slowly built my confidence. First time on a jet ski and was worried the group would get the s***s with me as a slow poke, didn't need to worry Jarrod made sure i was right and gave the other peeps on the tour a great day as well. the three hour island tour is worth the $$, I would highly recommend getting your own jet ski si you can go at your own pace be that fast or slow. Coral reefs, cyclone damaged island and the jewel in the crown a beautiful big sea turtle. Even if like me you have never jet skied get amongst it with Jarrod. I have already let friends who are travelling up the Whitsundays know where to go and who to ask for, and we'll be back! if you're not 100% confident try the morning one as it's less likely the wind will be up. Seriously do not miss out on this one See more..
- 5.0 Wavelength Reef Charters (3.410 reviews)
-Hand down the best snorkel experience I’ve ever had! Wavelength = #1
Sunday: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Scuba & Snorkelling • Boat Tours
There are lots of choices for reef tours from Port Douglas - But, Wavelength Reef Cruises is the only RIGHT choice! The crew were incredible and made this an unforgettable day! They clearly work hard, they were authentic, very friendly and so knowledgeable. We were taken to three different spots on Opal Reef. Each offered a slightly different experience and all three spots were incredible! I’m in awe of just how beautiful the reef is! We saw more fish than I ever expected and the coral was so beautiful. There was great visibility and so much to see and learn about. There were snorkel tours to learn about the reef and on board sessions over lunch with our master reef guide. We also loved that there was only a small group of about 45 of us. The boat was very clean and comfortable and felt like there was plenty of room. And I didn’t once feel crowded in the water. The crew offered help to anyone who needed it in the water and also offered more challenging experiences for those who wanted it. The crew timed each visit perfectly with enough time to really take in each site. They take brilliant photos during the day and send them to you for free so that you can forget about capturing the memories and focus on making them! Our snorkel gear and wetsuits were perfect and suncream was also supplied. There was delicious fresh food and drinks during the day. We can’t recommend Wavelength more highly and can’t wait to do this all over again one day. Thank you John Jenny Roxy Lachie and Tahn for helping us not only tick off a big bucket list item but to do it so well! See more..
- 5.0 Calypso Reef Cruises (3.293 reviews)
-Great day diving!
Scuba & Snorkelling • Boat Tours
Went diving today with me as a certified diver (3 dives) and my two teenage daughters doing intro dives, then snorkelling. Staff were absolutely fantastic, and could not have been more helpful and accomdating. Following the first dive there was an option for my daughters to do a 2nd dive, its was great to see no hard sell for this. Following the dives, Pamela the dive master taken the time to go through what the fish and other sealife were that we seen today, the enthusiam was clear and the time to so this much appriciated. Big shout out to Ludi as well for looking after my girls today. Cant fault the service, would definately go again with Calypso. See more..
- 5.0 Noosa National Park (3.052 reviews)
-Natural oasis
Sunday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM National Parks
Incredible place. Natural paradise. You can’t miss out if you are in the sunny coast. There are trails all over the national park,I recommend walking through all the park till sunrise beach and the caves. Fairy pools are an amazing place in early morning when there are nit too many people around for a peaceful swim in clear water. It is also a cool diving spot. The scenery is unbelievable. It is often very crowded so I recommend going there in the surly morning so that you’ll enjoy the most of it. Also if you are into surfing there are some cool waves breaks!! See more..
- 5.0 Passions of Paradise Reef Tour (3.044 reviews)
-Great experience
Scuba & Snorkelling • Boat Tours • Sightseeing Tours • Day Trips
When you visit this area, particularly if it is your first experience of going to the reef I would highly recommend this tour. The staff all ensured you enjoyed the experience and provided an all round enjoyable trip. Snorkelling was what we undertook though many others on the boat went scuba diving. The boat is magnificent with sails up on the return journey to add something different. Extremely safe and the crew provided real confidence for those who were a little hesitant in swimming in the ocean. The lunch provided was for me very average. Refreshments available on board. Saw heaps of colourful fish. Underwater cameras are available to hire on board though there is a hire shop attached to the cruise terminal that can supply the equipment slightly cheaper. Certainly recommend. See more..
- 5.0 Abc Snorkel Charters (2.651 reviews)
-BEST TRIP, BEST INSTRUCTORS, BEST EXPERIENCE
Sunday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Scuba & Snorkelling • Boat Tours • Sightseeing Tours • Private Tours • Nature & Wildlife Tours
I cannot express how wonderful this snorkeling trip was. The small group size allowed us to see a lot of sea life including sharks, parrotfish, eels, sea turtle, and clown fish. Originally, I was torn between this tour and another highly rated less expensive tour. However, the other tour had a maximum capacity of around 200 people. Choosing this smaller tour with knowledgeable guides, Jen and Sam, was the best decision I could have made. The equipment provided was extremely high quality. If you enjoy documenting events, renting a Go Pro is a good choice. The sun was very strong and I would recommend that everyone purchase their reef safe sunscreen and take care. I would love to go on this same trip again and will encourage my friends, family, and strangers to take this specific trip. The captain, Neil, was also very experienced and did a great job. As a young solo female traveler with decent swimming ability, I felt safe on this trip. See more..
- 5.0 Tony's Tropical Tours (2.509 reviews)
-Great experience
Sunday: 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM Safaris • Eco Tours • Nature & Wildlife Tours
What a great experience! I signed up for the Daintree rainforest tour and Gary was our guide. The trip was well organized, informative and FUN! They’ve limited the number of people in your van so we were around 10, very easy to manage. Great insight on the rainforest and surrounding area. Gary was wonderful at providing interesting details and facts and balanced that with allowing everyone space to explore on our own. A must when you’re in Port Douglas. See more..

-Charlie’s Chocolate Factory!
Sunday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Nature & Wildlife Tours
I was fortunate enough to book onto the Best of Both World’s Tour with no knowledge going into it on what we would be doing, and I highly recommend going in blind to the trip if you’re comfortable with that kind of experience, my expectations were blown out of the water: part in the itinerary, food, and people I’ve met, and the other part being paired with the best and most knowledgeable tour guide I’ve had on any tour I’ve done in Oz so far (going on 2 months)! Charlie was hilarious and had so much knowledge on everything we saw and experienced as well as was able to answer basically every question our tour group threw at him. Also every song he played in the car was a banger and he has the voice of an angel. I will 100% do this tour again while I am in Cairns and definitely recommend it as a “must-do” for anyone staying in Cairns :) See more..
- 5.0 Daintree Discovery Tours (2.281 reviews)
-Full day tour
Sunday: 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM Safaris • Boat Tours • Eco Tours • Nature & Wildlife Tours • Bus Tours
We had a lovely day with Adam as our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and passionate! We learnt so much about the rainforest from him. Our bus was very comfortable and air conditioned and he gave amazing commentary all the way through about local animals, trees, insects, everything! We met an Aboriginal guide who gave us an insight into their culture and way of life in the Daintree which was really nice. Our river guide Bruce was very insightful: we learnt about crocodiles and river animals, birds and plant life . Also would like to mention the local eateries we went to. All were spectacular and scrumptious! The tour was very well planned and executed. Being in a small group of 10 people made the experience better too. It was a very memorable day and we highly recommend it to anyone wishing to appreciate the Daintree rain forest . See more..
- 5.0 Blue Dive Port Douglas (2.073 reviews)
-Fantastic day with good company
Sunday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Scuba & Snorkelling • Boat Tours • Sightseeing Tours • Private Tours • Nature & Wildlife Tours
Had an amazing day out diving with Teddy. He was chatty, informative and made us feel very much at ease. His pictures were so much better than anything we would have taken and we throughly enjoyed it. I would highly recommend paying the extra to have Blue Dive take you out rather than just going on the boat in a larger group. It’s not very day you get to dive the outer reef so might as well make it the best day. See more..

- 4.5 City Cat (7.213 reviews)
-Amazing River Service
Spent 1-2 hours Ferries
We had used the ferry service between Riverside and South Bank and decided to complete the full circular journey on the river. As concession card holders, the cost was less than $10 each for a wonderful relaxing cruise on the Brisbane River with brief stops at all the ferry terminals. Part of the cruise covered sections of the river sighted on our Rived City Cruise but really interesting and enjoyable to view the buildings and other edifices again. The weather was pleasant enough to allow us be seated at the front of the boat, great for photographs and unobstructed viewing. On a practical note, it provides an outstanding service for commuters that do not wish to brave the vehicular traffic and is complimented in the Central Brisbane river area by the Kitty Cat. All staff pleasant and helpful. See more..

- 4.5 Four Mile Beach (4.113 reviews)
-Carnivale @ Four Mile Beach

We came to 4 Mile Beach as part of the Port Douglas Carnivale program and enjoyed a swim. The beach was a flurry of activity with music, bachata dancers, a fantastic skydiving display with the divers landing on the beach and a kite display with kites of all colours of the rainbow in the shape of fish, octopus etc. The beach is my favourite in FNQ (tied with Ellis & Etty Bay), you can swim there (stay between the flags) and it probably the safest & most beautiful up this way, though the odd Croc is spotted from time to time. Nearby are cafes (we had brunch at Lighthouse cafe) & amenities, and Macrossan St shopping & dining precinct is a short walk away. Also, do the Flagstaff Hill headland walk if you can, for some fantastic views over Four Mile Beach. See more..
