Amazing River Service

We had used the ferry service between Riverside and South Bank and decided to complete the full circular journey on the river. As concession card holders, the cost was less than $10 each for a wonderful relaxing cruise on the Brisbane River with brief stops at all the ferry terminals. Part of the cruise covered sections of the river sighted on our Rived City Cruise but really interesting and enjoyable to view the buildings and other edifices again. The weather was pleasant enough to allow us be seated at the front of the boat, great for photographs and unobstructed viewing. On a practical note, it provides an outstanding service for commuters that do not wish to brave the vehicular traffic and is complimented in the Central Brisbane river area by the Kitty Cat. All staff pleasant and helpful.

    Amazing
    We rode the city cat to Eat Street on the Sunday afternoon. It was so good we caught it back to the city. We loved that it was a safe way to travel and the views were different as we did day and then night. Shayne [I hope I spelt that right]and Joseph on our city cat on the way to Eat Street were so friendly and even gave us some tips on places to go. Those two guys get a 10/10 from us as they really made our trip more enjoyable. We actually enjoyed it so much that a couple of days later we went all the way up the river and back just to enjoy the ride. I also loved watching them travel the river from our apartment so the city cats were a real high light for us. Highly recommend going for a ride.

    Totally Enjoyable
    The best part is being on the river and seeing the views. The very close next best part is the courteous crew. There is one crew member in particular whose name I dont know but she is very thoughtful, very friendly and still professional. She treats passengers like they are her friends. She will ask parents their childrens names and then over the speaker will welcome those children, mentioning their names which the children then feel special and excited. She always wishes passengers a wonderful day, afternoon or morning whatever the time of day it is. I for one think she is fantastic!
