if you are here in Mossman on a Saturday between 8 am and 12 md make sure you visit this place. There are many unusual foods and handcrafts here to peruse. Many of the fruits and vegetables are not available in the retail shops but the overall standard of the food is that it is much fresher than those available in shops - also much cheaper. See more..

My husband and I visited this roadside shop today. The lady serving us was friendly, helpful, considerate and just lovely to talk to. She was genuinely grateful to see us visiting from Victoria after Covid as she felt we had a tough time with lockdowns. She gave us information on the products and the local area and a helpful map. I sampled the flavoured peanuts and macadamias and they are delicious. I was so excited to see some locally produced jerky as we travel around the country I like to sample it and buy more when I return home. I will definitely be purchasing the ripsaw jerky it was amazing. We also witnessed the genuine kind service that the staff give the older locals. Thank you for such a pleasant experience in your shop, we will definitely be purchasing products online from you in the future. See more..

Markets are biggest in Townsville and have huge supply of local fresh produce and also large plants section. Looking for local handmade items then also the place to go and different food stalls throughout. Plenty to see and a wander through the markets is a pleasant way to spend a morning. Run by local Townsville Rotary Clubs so all money from stall fees go towards local charities so a great way to support local charities by spending money locally with local stallholders. Totally recommend if you are looking for your weekly supply of fruit & vegs. Free entertainment supplied by local singers each week too - great morning with a good feeling of fun for families with things for kids to do also like pony rides and jumping castles etc See more..

One of the best markets we've come across in Queensland. Very well laid out, including lots of tables and chairs for those eating or drinking coffee - something many market organisers forget.
