While its a beautiful spot for picnic etc but with mass tourism come all kind of long term problems that ruin the pristine beauty of nature. Being on the side of the main road means that there is no way of avoiding it and It has become kind of unofficial tourist attraction and a must stopping point towards or from Cameron Highlands. The side effects are littering, rubbish left behind, damage to forest and polluted water. Taking a dip to cool off is one thing but to leave your dirty foot marks is not cool.See more..

Since Lata Kinjang is the tallest waterfall in South East Asia at 850m, wouldn’t you want to take a look for yourselves? It is easy to find. It is not that in the interior. Just exit to Tapah, then to a little town named Chederiang and straight to the waterfalls. It is a majestic sight. Entry is only RM2 per person. Parking is RM2 also. Great place to chill. Steps are provided all the way up the the middle of the falls. One can track up the forest to the top of the falls if you choose to. No proper steps but there is a narrow muddy trail to follow. It gets busy during weekends but the place is maintained very well regardless. A bit further in the forest passing the Petronas petrol station. The road is very narrow so please drive safe. The ‘secret’ gem is only to found when you hike to the top following the trail. And the water is quite deep so make sure to be safe.
