This place taken approximately 30 mins drive from Ipoh town. We have been to the tea valley in Cameron Highlands, this place nothing to compare. Probably we hope to see something like Cameron tea valley, but it is not even close. When we arrive, we go to the exhibition part where it tells the history of Gaharu Tea and we proceed to the shop. The price of the tea to us it is quite pricey, if I remember it right it was RM 60 for 12 sachet. The staff mentioned that it is organic, hence the price I guess??. Probably due to the pandemic, there is no tram ride, which means if you wish to explore the area, pay RM 5 and you may enter the place, however we look from below, nothing much to explore on foot, we decide to leave the place. Probably the experience would be different if there is tram ride. See more..
