A truly amazing place, we travelled from Penang just to see the Orang Utangs and it was a 2 hour journey each way but totally worth it. Only small groups allowed on the island for an hour each time but that's ok and it's so the animals aren't stressed. The staff were very knowledgeable about the animals and were happy to answer questions. There was a small cafe and a small gift shop which were both empty when we went. This place gets little or no funding from anywhere we were told, the entrance fee is included with the 10 minute ferry ride to the island and was very cheap at 80 ringgets for 2 adults. I'm a solo travelers. Due to convid-19 cases. I take my solo trip and going back to my father hometown is in a small tiny island in Malaysia. That's we call as pangkor island. Although in the Wikipedia it's written that's it's a fisherman village. Yea it's is. But the excitement cultures and different a lot you can learn and knowing about it. I was born in Georgetown Penang. Don't forget at this tiny island there were a tiny secret a lot of tourist doesn't know about. The area popular for Snorkeling. Lot of package provider available at the beach. Price ranging from Rm80-120 per boat type. Come early morning since during lunch hours, its very hot. Bring lotion to avoid burn or wear long sleeves shirt. If you take snorkeling package, don't forget to test the snorkeling equipment before entering the boat. Check if there are any leaking.
