Worth a visit! This castle or better known as Istana Bilah is located in Papan. When you reach Papan, drive through the little lane between the school and park inside. Easier for you to walk to the castle. There are empty wooden houses all around the castle. Its garden is filled with bougainvillas. Many would say this castle is haunted! See more..

    Ihsaniah Iskandariah Mosque image
The Ihsaniah Iskandariah Mosque or simply known as "Ihsaniah Mosque" was built in 1936 by the late Sultan Iskandar Shah, the 30th Sultan of Perak and officially opened in 1938. Its design was inspired by the Istana Kenangan which now converted as Perak Royal Museum in Bukit Chandan. The walls of the mosque was beautifully decorated with a traditional Perakian art of "Kelarai" in White, Black and Yellow which are the colors of the Perak's flag. Although ts location is a bit further from town, this mosque is definitely worth to visit during your time in Kuala Kangsar. See more..
