Incredibly beautiful
Roman Catholic church that was once a mosque. Blending many architectural styles, the structure evolved over the centuries.

lost for words.. so much history, so much beauty!
The absolute highlight of my trip- the history and the architectural beauty of this magnificent building is so overwhelming that I am lost for words! I could easily spend the entire day there... Recommend booking tickets in advance as there was a small queue outside the entrance by 9.30am (weekday) already! The audio guide can be rented at the Patio de los Narajos with a small fee (also need to leave some sort of ID as a "deposit"). The mosque/cathedral staff kindly let us leave the building, then re-enter via the Exit to get the audio guide.

Beautiful & Unusual
This is one beautiful and most unusual place of worship. The interior architecture and design are a fest to the eyes. Some chapels are like prison cells (behind bars under locking key) hence my 4 stars. They could open the doors of the “jail cells”, and rope them off and it would feel more welcoming. This is a large place and one needs at least 1.5 hours to go through it. Opening hour on weekdays with pre-purchased (online tickets) is the best time to visit to avoid large crowds and waiting in line to purchase tickets. Non flash photography for private use is allowed here.
