This is a beautiful, romantic and spiritual spot in Córdoba, not really visited by many tourists. The white walls, the cobbled paving and the christ create an atmosphere of withdrawal, specially a night. Nearby it is located the staircase of Cuesta del Bailío, another beautiful spot well known by locals. See more..

We rode into here as part of a week-long horseback adventure: and the seven horses puffed out their chests and picked up their hooves with pride, to wheel around the wide sandy boulevards and pose in front of the cathedral. There was something lovely, too, to look out of our hotel window that evening to see a couple of guys ambling to the bar, chatting quietly, on their horses. Lots of people seem to come here for birdwatching: there's certainly a beautiful view across the water, with plenty of birdlife. See more..
