My husband and I booked a walking tour of the Santa Cruz quarter. As it turned out, we were the only two people who were there for the English-speaking tour. That's when we met Valentin who gave us the best tour we could have hoped for, sharing his love for Seville, his great knowledge of history, and lots of fascinating stories. Two hours flew by as Valentin walked us through the narrow streets of Santa Cruz and centuries of the rich history and culture of Seville and its surroundings in a very professional and fun way. As a solo traveller, taking part in tours is always a surefire way to get comfortable in a foreign city. Add food and Maria as a tour guide in Seville and you're guaranteed a jovial, highly satiating & informative time- rain or shine! She even indulged my chocoholic want for hot chocolate w/ our churros (apparently some find the combo too much...yo no comprendo esto). 4 hours flew by and am looking forward to trying another of their offerings. I booked a full day tour with Anna - with me and my parents. She’s very knowledgeable in architecture, history, and interesting stories of the city Seville. Her enthusiasm about the city made us excited throughout. She’s also very patient with us curious bunch, explaining things until we’re satisfied (plus our English being not really good lol). The lunch place she recommended was enjoyable and food delicious. Anna was also one of the easiest guides to communicate prior to the tour - very smooth communication and transparency! My wife and I experienced this tour with one other person along with our guide Jose. Jose provided an amazing 90 minute tour of the Jewish Quarter and demonstrated his vast historical knowledge. The information covering 2700 years of Seville history was fascinating. The tour helped us to explore other aspects of the city on subsequent days. At the completion of the tour we were treated to 3 tapas and 2 drinks at a local tapas bar where we continued to share information and get to know each other. This is a tour I would highly recommend.
