My husband and I booked a walking tour of the Santa Cruz quarter. As it turned out, we were the only two people who were there for the English-speaking tour. That's when we met Valentin who gave us the best tour we could have hoped for, sharing his love for Seville, his great knowledge of history, and lots of fascinating stories. Two hours flew by as Valentin walked us through the narrow streets of Santa Cruz and centuries of the rich history and culture of Seville and its surroundings in a very professional and fun way. I had the opportunity to do both the Seville Sportive and the excursion at Zahara de la sierra and they have been great experiences! In particular the top view we saw during the Zahara de la sierra excursion was something unforgettable. I booked a full day tour with Anna - with me and my parents. She’s very knowledgeable in architecture, history, and interesting stories of the city Seville. Her enthusiasm about the city made us excited throughout. She’s also very patient with us curious bunch, explaining things until we’re satisfied (plus our English being not really good lol). The lunch place she recommended was enjoyable and food delicious. Anna was also one of the easiest guides to communicate prior to the tour - very smooth communication and transparency! If you are going to Seville, contact Estela! I had a lot of emailing back and forth with Estela to try to figure out the best planning given our time in the city and when we were arriving. We arrived late in the afternoon and she met us shortly after for a very informative and interesting walk in the Santa Cruz area of the city. She had booked a flamenco show and and dinner reservation for us and walked us to both to make sure we knew how to get there. She even advised us on some special things to order for dinner! She organized a flamenco lesson for us the next morning then took us on a tour of the Alcazar and the Cathedral. She was delightful and highly knowledgable! She offered suggestions for what to do when we weren't with her, including restaurants (for which she was spot on!). A native of the city, she knows Seville and its culture well, and it is clear that she is proud to share it. Would HIGHLY recommend her!See more..

We did this tour on our own from a cruise ship that was docked in Cadiz. The cost of private transport was a little pricey, so we decided to take the ships shore excursion of Seville on your own. It worked out great, the bus got us to Seville and we met with Clara soon after to begin our walking tour. Clara was wonderful and we learned a lot about the local history and she got tickets for us to enter the most popular attractions ahead of time. I can highly recommend Clara as she loves the history and is passionate when describing the different sites we visited - and the background photos she had were fascinating. Clara is also a photographer and she knows where to go for getting those shots that you will remember every time you look at your photo album.See more..
