I spent one week in their B&B and I took part in a day trail, a 2-day trail, and a sunset trail. This was easily one of the best holidays I've had! The room I slept in was very comfortable, it was so cool to really sleep at a farm. I heard the horses neigh in the evenings, it was truly a dream come true for the little girl in me. Breakfast was served in a cute basket in front of my door every morning, an incredible service. The trails were magnificent, and the horses were all very calm well taken care of. I could see that the well-being of the horses is a priority for the owners. I had lots of fun, but I was also able to get a lot of rest. On a rainy day I spent the whole afternoon reading in a comfortable chair in my room, which has a view on the paddock. Any time I looked outside I could see the horses. I highly recommend a stay at this farm, a quiet place for kids and a great adventure for adults! And I'll definitely miss the horses... See more..

We had the wonderful opportunity to visit this sledge dogs site in the summer. Hans and Yvonne are very friendly and calm, they gave us and our kids plenty of time to meet the dogs and get used to one another. The dogs are all very huggable and open. After that we walked for about an hour through the woods and along the river, very pleasant and not much mosquitos. Highly recommended for any day during summer, make sure to contact them first because they have limited availability due to the warm weather and the conditions of the dog, who are always a bit out of shape during the summer season! The owner was really really nice, explained everything very well and was very helpful and answered all of my questions via numerous Emails before I even booked the tour. This is a little gem, within easy reach of the town of Arvika. The only down side as I see it is that you really need a car or at least a bike to get there. You can walk, swim, have a barbecue, lots of things. It is even wheel chair accessible to some extent. This was a nice and relaxed stroll in the forest which has a marked path to follow, so you do not get lost and to see the pots of various sizes. It was interesting to learn how the water made the rocks forming the pots.
