- 4.5 St Barbara's Cathedral (2.092 reviews)
-Surprisingly the highlight of Kutná Hora for me
Friday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Spent < 1 hour Churches & Cathedrals
I originally went to Kutná Hora just because of ossuary, but since it's not possible to take pictures there, my visit of the ossuary was quite short. Compared to that, I spent about 2 hours at the cathedral. I liked the interior of the place very much. The lights pointing at the altar were creating a nice cozy atmosphere, even though the building is huge. It's possible to borrow binoculars at the entrance to the cathedral for 50 crowns and I strongly recommend that! Just for that fun to look around and notice small details at the sculptures or anywhere inside. If you plan to see all the main attractions in Kutná Hora, it's better if you drive a car. This cathedral is located 2 km something from the ossuary. See more..
