Beautiful small town with so much to see and do!

This idyllic town is stunning in its beauty and fascinating with its rich history. Rafting the river is a wonderful break from touring. The people were very friendly and welcoming. A folk singer entertained a large dancing crowd with Czech songs and guitar. Delightful!

This is a Beautiful Must-see Place
Descending from the gorgeous castle, you don't expect to find such a magnificent village. You should have given the birds eye view of old town from the castle ramparts. There are beautiful narrow winding streets, the river running through parts of the city in a nearly semicircular sense. A total must see. Worth the trip to get here from whereever you are.

    Early in the morning
Read so many reviews and blogs and we decided to arrive late at 5pm, stayed overnight, explored the town from 7.45am when light appeared. it was so good at night and early in the morning, quiet when you need a rest, even at the night the town is cute and empty, you get to see the beautiful town. From 10am you start to see the town 50% full with tourist groups, every half an hour increased by 20%, the town was full of groups by 11.30am. We strolled the town over and over, it is very small. However, each time we passed the same street, it felt different due to the number of tourists and finally we lost interest of the town because of the crowds. The cute bridge doesnt look like bridge any more, you only see people, nothing but people. But we are glad we visited it with good strategy, we loved this town when it‘s quiet!!
