    not the best IMO
When i started reading about prague, the first thing that came on every travel book/website is this church. This is the most important church in Prague and Czech Republic and lots to see. And you are most definitely likely to visit this church as it is inside Prague castle which everyone visits while in Prague. You can enter the church for free for a bare look but if you need to see the entire church with all that it keeps, you need to buy the prague castle ticket of 250 CK which. But i did not have a guide, therefore it looked like any other big church/cathedral in Europe to us. I would recommend taking a guide / good travel book to understand the different parts of the church. While it is grand, i have given it 4 stars only because it did not exceed my expectations. In terms of beauty and grandness, the nearby St. Nicholas church at Malostrana is far superior. Ofcourse its my personal opinion. This church took almost 800-900 years to finish. The timeline is quite visible when you look at the church from the southern side of the compound where the church is located. The rear portion is much older and the front portion seems new in comparison. Ofcourse its a must see monument of cultural importance, but in terms of sheer beauty, dont miss the st. nicholas church at Malostrana.

    Impressive
The cathedral is situated on the Castle grounds and is quite big and impressive. You can go into the church and take your photos without paying the entry fee. However, if you want to walk around the whole building you can only to that with the Prague Castle ticket. As far as churches go we have seen prettier ones but it's worth a visit. And we loved the colourful windows. They created a beautiful light inside when the sun shone through them.
