- 4.5 Parque 93 (2.857 reviews)
-One of the “must place“ to visit in Bogota
Saturday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Parks
Parque de la 93 is an emblematic places to visit when in Bogota. If you have small or young children, there are plenty of things to do on a Saturday or Sunday morning or afternoon. The park is a very safe place to be. It’s also clean and well designed. It was a children playground, open places to play soccer or frisbee. It is virtually surrounded by restaurants such as Wok, Creppes and Waffles, Dinner, the new Salvio Food Court, Cafe Renault, Pescadería Jaramillo, among many other good places to eat brunch, lunch or dinner. If you want to have a coffee there is a Starbucks and a Juan Valdez just a few steps away. Parque de la 93 is located in one of the most secure and upscaled areas of Bogota, there are several good hotels nearby where I recommend you stay while visiting the city. It’s a 15 to 20 minute walk to the Andino Shopping Mall and it’s surrounding aT Zone, an area with boutiques, bars, night clubs and restaurants, very visited by locals and foreigners. See more..

Nicely illuminated park which has a great atmosphere at night time with people selling food on stalls. There is a lot to do in this area as there are lots of bars, high end restaurants, a shopping centre and street markets. I'd recommend visiting this area in the afternoon/early evening so you can admire the architecture and the atmosphere from the street sellers. - 4.5 Plaza de Mercado de Paloquemao (717 reviews)
-Fantastic food market!
Spent 1-2 hours Points of Interest & Landmarks • Farmers Markets
Fantastic market for all kinds of food. It was easy to get to, and pretty enormous to walk through. We lived in Asia for many years, so this reminded us of the “wet markets” and fruit and vegetable markets we used to go to there. Some of the highlights were the fresh juices, the snacks and the myriad of exotic fruits, many of which we had not tried before. And literally everyone we encountered I spoke to were incredibly nice, even though almost no one there I spoke English.. It’s definitely a great way to spend 2 to 3 hours! See more..

Get here early as the queues van be quite significant. No matter, the views make it all worthwhile. The cablecar takes about 4 or 5 minutes each way and is very smooth and comfortable. At the top the views are breathtaking, just stunning. The church is beautiful too and the statuary of the stations of the cross along the camino up to the top is striking. The cablecar station is a 10 or 15 minute walk from La Candelaria along Avenida Jimenez as far as the university and then take the road up the hill to uour right. See more..

- 4.5 Santuario de Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe (205 reviews)
-Observing from a verdant spire
Points of Interest & Landmarks • Religious Sites
The view, the undulating road, the flora, the quietness. We did not attend Montserrat for that reason- a. our limited interest in creed anthology and the crowds. We still view serenity as a serendipitous event in tourism. Without becoming didactic that is what has been lost through social media, nomadic events and so on. The views of the altiplanic lake which is the setting on the Bogota Savana, the depth of the field and the structure of this town offered excellent vistas. Now the surrounding structures and there state of being is another matter. A different form of poetry of neglect versus poetry of abuse. See more..
