One of the “must place“ to visit in Bogota

Parque de la 93 is an emblematic places to visit when in Bogota. If you have small or young children, there are plenty of things to do on a Saturday or Sunday morning or afternoon. The park is a very safe place to be. It’s also clean and well designed. It was a children playground, open places to play soccer or frisbee. It is virtually surrounded by restaurants such as Wok, Creppes and Waffles, Dinner, the new Salvio Food Court, Cafe Renault, Pescadería Jaramillo, among many other good places to eat brunch, lunch or dinner. If you want to have a coffee there is a Starbucks and a Juan Valdez just a few steps away. Parque de la 93 is located in one of the most secure and upscaled areas of Bogota, there are several good hotels nearby where I recommend you stay while visiting the city. It’s a 15 to 20 minute walk to the Andino Shopping Mall and it’s surrounding aT Zone, an area with boutiques, bars, night clubs and restaurants, very visited by locals and foreigners.

A must
An elegant park surrounded by very good restaurants and coffee where most of the great and food of Bogotá go to have fun. It feels safe and it is clean. One can sit on a bench and watch the works passing by. Very atmospheric.

Nice urban park
We stayed in the Parque 93 area and walked by the park and through the park many times during our 2 week stay. It's a really nice park and the area is very safe. They were running an event at the park during one of the days we were there and it looked very lively! The shops and restaurants around the park are all great and I can see it being a nice outing during the weekend.
