We had a great experience in Sailing boat with our small child with experienced sailer . We went around the Embalse Tomine. I reserved by calling . We arrived in Marina de Guatavita , there is a person not too nice who received us at the entrance of Marina de Guatavita . I did not feel to enter because of him, he is just worried to charge 20 thousand Colombian pesos for the parking . He does not give any instructions , he is just worried to charge . Then you find your way by yourself . At the end there is tend with barlovento sign . Then you will be ready for the experience . Very nice people and good service . See more..

The climbing in Suesca is incredible. The sandstone was lovely to climb on, and our guide Fredy (and his dog!) took great care of us. He was really able to tailor the day for our experience level, and selected routes with great variety (dihedral, slab, vertical, crack, chimney, slopers). I would absolutely go climbing with Suescalada again on my next trip to Bogota! See more..

- 5.0 Taroa Beach (36 reviews)
-Unique beach dunes
Beaches
Got here by transport which was arranged by our hospedaje Alexandra. Well that was an experience. On the pictures it's difficult to imagine how it looks like. But you can run down the dune directly into the water. As others stated it's approx 50m high. The landscape is stunning and due to the ongoing wind the sand seems to be untouched with it's wavy structure. Definitely a must if you did the long way to Punta Gallinas. We had about 1.5h at the beach. BRING sunscreen and water. Because of the wind the heat doesn't feel to be that high but it is, the sun is very strong, so protect yourself and drink a lot. See more..

it's unlike most churches you've visited, it was a nice surprise to see the interesting colors inside and see that it's all made in bare brick and stone, and seeing the cominationof many material layering, in a way it made me feel as if I was in an extremely old church even though it's not. Sun or machine-dried, you will learn how to the thresh the outer shell of coffee beans with your own hands.
