- 4.5 Parque 3 de Febrero (7.424 reviews)
-Beautiful Park and Boat Rentals
Sunday: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM Gardens
We walked through this park en route to the Bosque (middle of the park) but never made it there. Once we saw the Lago (lake) with the boat rentals we simply had to stay and do some paddle boating. Up to that point, we saw walkers, joggers, and people sitting on the lawn. That alone makes this a great spot in central Buenos Aires. We rented a paddle boat suitable for 4 people, with a small roof. Cost was about 800AP ($12USD) for 30 minutes. Started out fun and fine, then the skies opened up with rain, and we simply got drenched! We finally paddled back and got out, with dozens of people taking shelter from the weather. I asked at the ticket booth if we can extend for another couple hours (as a joke) and we were told "they were closed" - at which time I presented out coupon receipt and with no further words she refunded me the entire 800. Very nice of them to do that! We would definitely come back if we find the time. Do try the boats on Lago Palermo there! See more..

- 4.5 Palermo Soho (6.881 reviews)
-Fun place to walk around
Neighborhoods
We stayed in Palermo Soho for our one night in BA and enjoyed the short time we were there. We walked around both at night and during the day and the neighborhood was equally vibrant and alive during both times. We didn't have time for a mural walking tour but saw and photographed plenty of murals during our own walks. We also didn't take the time for drinks or food at any of the many establishments but equally enjoyed walking by and seeing all the happy people eating or drinking outside. We caught the market in the Armenian Square and bought a few pieces of very high quality artisan work. I would definitely recommend either walking or at least driving through the neighborhood to see this side that is quite different from Recoleta, Puerto Madero, or the city center. See more..
- 4.5 Estadio Alberto J. Armando (La Bombonera) (6.248 reviews)
-INSANE
Sunday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Spent < 1 hour Arenas & Stadiums
The tour was nice I guess, nothing special but oh boy, as a soccer fan, going to a match at La Bombonera last year was one of the greatest experiences I’ve ever had. The fans are out of this world, more than a football atmosphere it seems like a warzone. A must go for every sports fan. See more..
- 4.5 Puente de la Mujer (6.094 reviews)
-Unique for sure
Bridges
We walked along the water in Porto Madero to approach this iconic bridge, one of Buenos Aires' famous landmarks that gives the city its global recognition. The "Women's Bridge" as it translates, is named for the many nearby streets named after women but it holds more respect in its own right, as a way to recognize and celebrate the power and significance of women. You can walk across its solid wooden boardwalk in about 5 minutes and snap photos and admire its incredible and unique architecture and meaning. See more..

The PALACIO illustrates and pays tribute to THE DIVINE COMEDY written by DANTE ALIGHIERI. This building shows a unique architectural style, mingling the neo-Romanesque and neo-Gothic appearance followed by the dome, with its original hindu design, which belongs to the region of Bhubaneshwar. It represents the tantric union between Dante and Beatrice, both protagonists of The Divine Comedy. See more..
- 4.5 Basílica del Santísimo Sacramento (2.676 reviews)
-WOW!!! Spectacular Modern Basilica (1916)
Churches & Cathedrals
Basilica del Santisimo Sacramento (Blessed Sacrament) is on a side street, so it's a little hard to find. Don't miss it! This ornate church is considered one of the most beautiful in Buenos Aires, which is an understatement. Built in 1916 by a wealthy female aristocrat (Mrs. Mercedes Castellanos de Anchorena), who said that if she lived in a palace, her God deserved one as well. The interior is an explosion of marble, stained glass, venetian tiles, blue granite, brass, silver and gold. It contains the largest pipe organ in Argentina (4800 pipes). It has 5 tall towers and the largest altar I've ever seen. Spectacular!!!! Open a limited number of hours so check the schedule on the website. See more..

Open Tuesday to Sunday from 8AM-7PM. Most of the roses bloom in spring by there are other colorful flowers in autumn and winter so any time during the year is a good time to visit the gardens. Some other nice photo ops are the Greek Bridge or the Pergola (walk between the rose garden and the lake). There are 26 busts of poets and writers in the center of the gardens. See more..

Bodies of Water
Once we saw the Lago (lake) in the "3 de Febrero Parque" with the boat rentals we simply had to stay and do some paddle boating. We rented a paddle boat suitable for 4 people, with a small roof. Cost was about 800AP ($12USD) for 30 minutes. Started out fun and fine, then the skies opened up with rain, and we simply got drenched! - 4.5 El Zanjon de Granados (679 reviews)
-HIDDEN GEM
Sunday: 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM History Museums
This is a little private museum showing a restored house. It requires a bit of imagination, where the carriages were drawn, what the family dynamic was like inside, etc. Over the centuries this home went from a single upper class home to a tenant house to apartments and now a restoration project/museum. It’s a hidden gem. The tour begins at street level and concludes in an underground river about a block away. There aren’t many artifacts, thus the imagination, but it’s still a work in progress. E bliss tours are available. Worth the time exploring. See more..
