Palermo Soho, Capital Federal District, Argentina

Fun place to walk around

We stayed in Palermo Soho for our one night in BA and enjoyed the short time we were there. We walked around both at night and during the day and the neighborhood was equally vibrant and alive during both times. We didn't have time for a mural walking tour but saw and photographed plenty of murals during our own walks. We also didn't take the time for drinks or food at any of the many establishments but equally enjoyed walking by and seeing all the happy people eating or drinking outside. We caught the market in the Armenian Square and bought a few pieces of very high quality artisan work. I would definitely recommend either walking or at least driving through the neighborhood to see this side that is quite different from Recoleta, Puerto Madero, or the city center.

    Fun Neighbourhood
We spent an afternoon walking around this cool neighbourhood. We went mainly to see the street art and were able to see some really amazing murals, visited the market with lots of local vendors and have a meal at an outdoor cafe. Plenty to see and do and all with a fun vibe.

    Favorite Area to Stay
Very bohemian vibe. Plenty of restaurants, pubs, shops, and a couple of tango schools, If not staying in this area, I highly recommend spending a day walking around, shopping, and trying out the different cafes. A lot of the pubs are open very late, some are open until 4AM. The pubs are definitely lively even in the wee hours. Have an empanada from different places, you will sure enjoy them. There are so many restaurants to name. Hard to go wrong as far as dining here.
