Beautiful Neighborhood
Recoleta neighborhood is awesome. We stayed a week in the neighborhood and we were very happy we did. freewalksbuenosaires has a free walking tour (3 hrs) to Retiro and Recoleta that is well worth doing. You can even schedule another tour ($10 pp + admission) to Recoleta Cemetery the same day. NOT overly taxing (I am 68; brother is 71).

BEAUTIFUL PLACE TO WALK AROUND
Recoleta has many attractions to visit as museums, parks, restaurants, historical places. It is a MUST to visit. If you go on Monday, maybe some museums are closed, so take it into account when you program your itinerary.
