This is a tourist snare - throwing in the word Proboscis in the hopes of drawing more suckers - but very quickly one realises there is slim to no chance of seeing a Proboscis monkey in this area. The Palmtree plantations have come right near the banks and there is limited mangroves for the Proboscis monkeys. There are other monkeys at the base who are lured at the feeding time and then chased away at other times. The reception, food and touches to one's comfort is notable. The bird watching is good - Hornbill, Kingfisher and Red eagles to be seen. The trip to see the giant fruit bats exodus the island to go hunt is memorable. All in all a good trip but they should not try entice with the name Proboscis as that leads to disappointment. If you have to pass an afternoon and evening in Semporna this is a good way to do so.See more..
I really had a great time while I was taking freediving course. My instructor Manu was giving us lots of patient and comfort throughout the session. Im able to hold my breath longer than I thought and it was so amazing! I will definetly come back here for prastise!See more..

The Blue Hole is a coral reef about 45 minutes by speed boat from Kunak. Pristine crystal clear waters and unspoilt corals reefs almost seem too good to be true. Husband wife team Shirley and Ken from NT Adventures took very good care of us for the day's outing for our party of 7 whose ages range from 7 to 92 !!! At one point when my 3 nephew and nieces jumped into the water to swim the 300-400 metres from boat to beach, Ken promptly threw in a life buoy and swam after them as a safety measure. Ken also buddied my brother scuba diving. Their excellent knowledge of the waters allowed us to go to various spots for fishing, snorkelling, diving and even just wondering around a sand bank during the low tide. One of the trip highlights was sashimi of some of the live catches, complete with lime juice and chilli which Shirley and Ken knowingly :-) brought along !!!See more..
We stayed for 2 nights and did a number of boat trips - all amazing - and the nature guides were friendly, very knowledgable and great at spotting wildlife. The rooms at the lodge were fine and the food (buffet style) was great. Staff were lovely. Recommend the night cruise for seeing wildlife!See more..
