4.0Desa Dairy Farm(470 reviews) - A must visit place if you coming to Kundasang Wednesday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Farms
This agricultural destination in Kundasang is set against a splendid backdrop with stunning views of Mount Kinabalu. Walk by the cows grazing freely in the pastures and enjoy the crisp fresh air. Make your way to the barn, where you can observe the milking process and feed young calves. There’s also a petting area with cows and goats and an assortment of dairy products like gelato and cheeses, baked goods, and the freshest milk straight from the source. Bring appropriate clothing for the chilly conditions, and book tickets ahead online, as walk-ins are no longer entertained. – TripadvisorSee more..
Road to get there was terrible, entrance fee so damn expensive and its a ordinary farm. The shows repetitive and they abusing the crocodiles. See more..
We were greeted by the sight of poorly cared for crocs. Dirty waters, cramped enclosures, injured and bleeding crocs, a very sick ostrich. The croc feeding session was a waste too. Little bits of chicken was thrown in to the waters, or to specific crocs. Hardly a show to begin with. You may feed the various types of fishes with pallets that cost you RM1 per packet. There are cute and pretty bunnies that you can hold and play with. And hold a baby croc (mouth taped) See more..
Since not much tourist or visitor would pay a visit here, they only do simple demonstration on harvesting the honey when there's people around. The farm was rather small as it is considered as 'village business'.See more..
It is situated about 4 kms off the main road. It costs 3 ringgit per person for the full tour. We just had the short version and got to taste four flavors. We decided to buy a bottle of wild honey which was my husband's favorite. I preferred the Tropical honey flavour, which was made by native bees they imported from Australia. It had a milder taste. They only had bigger plastic squeeze bottles left. We paid 19 ringgit for a small glass jar of wild honey. Prices were cheaper than Australian give honey. The guide told us quite a lot about the native bees.See more..
