A very magnetic exposition! I particularly liked the litographies of Goya, Munch and Rops in sequence. You can appreciate the three different styles by immersing yourself in each artist’s technique. I also liked the first room with german expressionists grouped by author again. The museum provides a paper guide that can accompany you in the interpretation of some background on the artists as well as very good pictures of the lithographies. I would highly recommend it if you want to spend a nice hour and discover some of the caprichos of these famous artists! See more..

In our iconic building, Old Masters such as Bosch and Rubens hang alongside Impressionists, Surrealists and Modernists. With names like Ensor, Magritte and Permeke, Belgian art is well represented.
