4.5Gaasbeek Castle(248 reviews) - Medieval enchantment Temporarily closed - Closed until further notice Spent 1-2 hours Castles
Gaasbeek Castle is currently closed until 2023 for a large restoration campagn. Gaasbeek Castle is a unique historic house with an extensive collection that has grown organically with it. We are the permanent custodians of this piece of heritage. We present this house and its collection in a bold way as a heritage laboratory and inspiring place to meet. The castle is a ‘work in progress’: we develop systematic innovative initiatives which we share with the local heritage community and beyond. In so doing we put our visitors first: we excite, move and invite them to reflect. We work on an interdisciplinary basis and reach a collective vision of how to enhance art, heritage, nature, education and tourism. All this with attention to quality and maximum social relevance.See more..

4.5Ter Dolen(116 reviews) - Local brewery as scenery to have drink and a snack Breweries • Castles
I already visited this brewery in the starting up years, when they actually ran out of beer before the next one was ready. I love to eat a tomato soup with some local cheese and bread. Calm place to relax with some nice choices of local beer.See more..
5. What a fantastic few days we spent at the castle as guests of Count Henry. Spend a few hours just wondering around the property and enjoy the surrounds. The rooms are a sight to behold as is the lounge area, we also sampled some of the regions food and wine and cooked one evening in the kitchen, what an experience that was. A must if you’re in the region.See more..
