Local brewery as scenery to have drink and a snack

I already visited this brewery in the starting up years, when they actually ran out of beer before the next one was ready. I love to eat a tomato soup with some local cheese and bread. Calm place to relax with some nice choices of local beer.

    nice brewery, nice beer. It's not an abbey though.
    went in hope to see the abbey with a brewery. It turned out to be just the brewery, no monks there. Still nice. And the beer is tasty. Food in a resto is also interesting.

    Great beers, OK brewery visit
    The brewery visit takes approximately 45 minutes, more than half of the time it's about the history of the castle and the brewer's family tree. The brewing process is only mentioned quite briefly. The beers at Ter Dolen are great - I especially liked the winter beer. Definitely worth a visit.
