This place seemed to be only occupied by locals, nuns and monks. We bought some birds from the locals at the bottom in a small cage, taking them to the top we released them before the Buddha as an offering for good Karma. A truly beautiful experience and something we all felt was more honest and genuinely culturally accurate instead of tourist centered. See more..
