3.0Pattaya Beach(4.652 reviews) - Warm and blue green - but full of plastic Beaches
Nice beach from a distance. Water is full of plastic bottles and plastic bags and wrappers which is disgusting to swim in which is why most people drink beer and sunbath except City Hall no longer allows the rented loungers to be dragged into the sunny beach. Needs a clean up and rules enforcement on littering and beach sellers who bug you all day long. What is the bacteria level in the water by the way guys ?See more..

3.5Tawaen Beach(385 reviews) - Beach beach with trash issue Beaches
Island Koh Larn is about 2 hrs drive from Bangkok. You to take a ferry or speed boat from Pattaya City. It is about 200 bahts round trip speedboat. The speedboat ride is about 15 mins. We stayed in Tawaen Beach area. So we got on a motorcycle taxi to our resort about 40 bahts each way. Tawaen Beach is amazing. White sandy beach. Water is really clear and warm. Not much in term of night life at Tawaen, but there is an outdoor live music where you can sit back and relax. Order some food or drinks. Sadly the beach has trash issue. Hopefully the local govt can educate locals as well as tourists no to litter. Would definitely come back again. Good for weekend getaway See more..

We drove from Bangkok at 6:30 am to the Bali Hai Pier at 8:30 am. We paid 30 Baht for the ferry from the Pier to Tawaen Beach Pier. The Tawaen beach is nice and clean. There is a 7-11 Store near the pier. We paid 10 Baht to use the restrooms and changed the clothes. We paid 40 Baht for a shared taxi truck to Samae Beach. Samae Beach has white sand and clear water. We paid 100 Baht for a beach chair per day at Samae Beach. The Papaya salad cost 100 Baht. I hiked to the hill view point in 10 minutes. The views were beautiful. The weather were nice. 4.0Tien Beach(170 reviews) - Best side of Koh Larn! Beaches
My friends and I were excited about spending the day at Koh Larn, just off the coast of Pattaya. We tried to arrange direct transport from Pattaya to Tien Beach on Koh Larn, but it didn't exactly work out. Even specifically showing the charter company where on the island we wanted to be dropped off at, we were still taken to the main [wrong] beach. This beach is jam packed full of Chinese & Russian tourists. From there we had to take a sungthaew ride for 40B over to Tien Beach. It was worth the hassle though, because that coastline is breathtaking. Turquoise water and white sand as far as the eye can see. There are a few restaurants and food stalls, but nothing extraordinary. I wish I had brought more water & snacks. But it was still a beautiful day on a beautiful island.See more..

4.0Dongtan Beach(103 reviews) - Local beach in Jomtien, good place, some days can be crowded. Sunday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Spent More than 3 hours Beaches
This is close to where I live and find it popular with the Russian tourists and a blend of other folk. The beach is nicer than Pattaya and can find a place to chill here or up to Cozy Beach slightly to the north. Food and drink options close and street adjacent is blocked to cars after 10am... more peaceful! See more..
4.0Ban Amphur Beach(88 reviews) - I have lived meters from this beach for 6 years Beaches
One of the "hidden gems" of Thailand... ...Opps! now the secret is out! A great beach for families, palm tree lined golden sands, clear and clean water, a great place to go fishing and a lot more... Ban Amphur Beach is know to the locals and is very popular late afternoon, sunset time and into the evening where tables & chairs are dragged out onto the sand for a wonderful moonlight Thai style dinner. This beach is just south of Bang Saen Beach. It has a small park with exercise equipment for free public use. It is so easy to connect with locals here. There is also places here that fishermen bring in their catch from last night. Walking here in the morning, gives you a chance to see them work. It is less crowded than Bang Saen beachSee more..
This is the which is away from Pattaya. You can book a private boat for 2000 Bhat or Join another group going in same direction for 600 bhat. Best thing of this beach is that either you can have activities like snorkeling, Banana boat etc. Or simply sit idle in peace. I found it quite peaceful as there were only 30-40 people at the time of visit. It was so peacefulSee more..
