Really enjoyed it

Los Roques forms a beautiful framework of more than 50 keys and 300 sandbanks, in the form of an atoll, which makes it unique and incomparable to this group and insular of the Venezuelan seas. It is located in the Caribbean Sea, in the north of Venezuela, between 11º 44 '45' 'and 11º 58'36' 'north latitude and 66º 32'42' 'and 66º 52'27' 'west longitude of Greenwich , being concentrated about 120 km. North of Naiquatá on the Coast of the Capital District. The Archipelago of Los Roques forms a rectangle of 36.7 km.

    Truly amazing entry level Hike
Like a lot of places in Teide National Park, the views from this hike are mind blowing! The hike itself starts across the road from The Parador Hotel at the ‘Catedral’ Rock formation. It’s a circular route and is marginally sign posted, though it’s impossible to get lost. The route is allegedly 4.2km in length and should take around 90 minutes to complete. However, I sauntered around very casually and took lots of photos so hike time ended up around 2-3 hours. The hike itself is very easy and should be able to be completed by even the least experienced/fit of hikers! It’s only the last section where the accent ramps up but it’s only for a few hundred metres or so. I hiked in February when the weather was perfect, I’d it’d be pretty brutal in the height of summer as it’s so exposed. This isn’t really a ‘hike’ in the truest sense, more an adventurous walk’ for tourists but don’t let that put you off, the scenery is breathtaking!! My only criticism is the parking, trying to get a parking space in Teide National Park is horrendous. I literally drove between the Cable Car Station,mThe Parador Hotel and back again for nearly 45 minutes until I eventually got a space outside the Hotel (which is the best place to park for the hike itself). An amazing, must-do experience!

Fun hike. No bathrooms or parking
This hike took about 2 hours at a fairly leisurely pace. Lots of people, but it was a friendly, international crowd. Too bad there are no toilets of any kind, so tourists and hikers leave toilet tissue everywhere. And, very limited parking. Too bad the national park hasn't figured out a tram system that runs constantly so people can park at some big parking lot several miles away.
