This restaurant is next to the beach/sea and it is towards the end of El Golfo which makes it more private than the main run of restaurants. The views are amazing. Friendly staff and we did not need the menu as we ordered the seafood paella. We were told it would take 25 mns which was fine and ensured it was freshly cooked. It was certainly worth the wait and it was excellent with 2 large helpings. Half a bottle of the tasty dry white Guiguan. Slightly disappointing apple pie to share but overall an excellent lunch. - Great to Ferry Watch

Great place to watch the Ferries coming in & out. Loved my Pickie of Armas with the crane looking like it's fitted to the top of it The crane is working on the sea wall, strengthening it, & is going to be there for sometime, visible from much of Los Cristianos. Normally loads of smaller fishing boats & booze cruise boats using the harbour, but their numbers are drastically reduced in these uncertain times, even The Ragnarock has been sitting there for over 6 months & hasn't moved. Luckily the 3 different ferries keep the harbour busy with their trips to La Gomera La Palma & El Hierro. See more..

This is a lovely place to visit, we enjoyed having a swim in the gorgeous calm blue water. We saw lots of crabs on the rocks which was cool. I think the levels of visitors depends on the time of year/day, when we went it was quite busy. I think it would have been very enjoyable if a little quieter. It was free to visit, with 50 cents required to shower. See more..

A nice open space with parking, bbq areas, a play area, small information centre and a restaurant. We stopped here to walk Ruta 14 to Alto Garajonay and it's a good start and finish point for this with all the facilities etc. Didn't use the bbqs but other people's food smelt great. Had a drink and snack from the restaurant / cafeteria and the staff seemed friendly. Nice enough See more..

Park at the top and follow he path down. The first part of the path is loose material but there is a handrail and you soon come to a proper path with steps. There are a couple of timber sunbathing platforms you can use which are quite accessible. To see the turquoise coloured lagoon, you have to take a few steps down into a cave and the carefully scrabble down about four boulders or rocks. Walking boots or shoes are a good idea as there are slippery moss covered rocks encountered as well as some dog mess difficult to see in the low light. I'm nearly 60 and I managed ok - just take your time. I had a lovely swim in the lagoon which wasn't as cold as I expected. The water is crystal clear, so plan your route out of the water before you get in and you should be ok. See more..
  6. 4.5 Piscina Natural La Maceta (41 reviews)
    - Well worth a visit

Well worth a visit if you are in the area, and if you are feeling brave, a swim too, though in all reality it's hard to swim a lot of the time unless you are a very strong swimmer. The noise of the waves can be astounding. If you can, visit at dusk as the sunsets can make it very spectacular See more..
