   Amazing place to see big fish up close and personal. But some fish food nearby and just throw it into the river. You'll be amazed at what happens next. Big fish appear from below to feed. I think maybe catfish but not sure. These fish are around 3 or 4 ft in length. Get the camera out and get snapping. Recommended for anyone. Seen locals there Sith small children. It's free but you have to pay a small charge for parking and for good for the fish. Just a small load of bread. If you don't want to buy the bread you can take your own. See more..

   People claim the Kae Dam bridge is the longest wooden bridge in Thailand and who am I to argue? It's definitely very cool! Low-tech, rough, a bit whobbly, and uneven; it looks like it could have been built by a bunch of kids on a lark. But, that's all part of the appeal and, in fact, it's fundamentally quite sturdy.     Maha Sarakham for me was a great place to spend the week, the food was fantastic and I only ever ate at the plethora of street vendors. Take a trip to the night markets ,although there is little in the way of unique goods, the atmosphere is great with families out and about. There is a half reasonable bar scene happening too along the canal in town and on Thursday night it was jumping,the various bars and eateries were overflowing with university students. So in short when out and about in Thailand on holiday please don't forget the North East it is worth the effort. Will I go back.....yes See more..

    A nice park, with various exercise equipment, playground with playhouses, slides, possibilities for climbing and swings, and pavilions with benches to sit down in protected from the sun. Also toilets in the south eastern corner of the park. Pros: A nice park for a picnic, to play for children or exercise. Free, including going to the toilet. At the time I visited in the afternoon, it was quiet and not many people. One should visit Phra Ming Mueng temple nearby but unfortunately I had not enough time to visit both temple on that day.
