This wat is in the middle of nowhere but worth to go to. You can park in the wat area. Cross the road to the little park. At the end 200m you will find the unique Stella's from early Buddhist time, brought from India by monks. You will find one of them as well in the Ubon Ratchathani museum. See more..

    Wat Tham Saeng Phet image
I grew up in amnatcharoen, but not quite often we go up to this temple, first of all, 20 years ago there are no road and not easy to go to this temple. But now, you can take your personal car ( everyone has car now :) take only 15-20 minutes from the city to go up there. Last time I went to this temple on 2019. There are many more new construction, but still they keep the temple very quiet. Many not many thing to explore much in the temple but if you spend time to see and hear the history about it. You will be very impressd. See more..
  4. 4.0 Ban Kham Phra Handicraft Centre (1 review)
    - pas simple à trouver, mais intéressant
    Points of Interest & Landmarks
Ban Kham Phra Handicraft Centre image

    - Lovely open, airy and serene for dining or lodging
    Points of Interest & Landmarks
Next to a lake, extensive grounds and superb outdoor eating and detached lodgings spread throughout the grounds. Probably get most custom from conventions but a great place for big families. Thai food at good prices, good idea to book and advise of dining requirements to be sure you get dishes you'd like. Ate here with thai family of 12. A good evening and great atmosphere. Stayed here also but that was over a decade ago. Take a walk by the lake in late afternoon and enjoy true serenity. Signposts may say chisakorn flower world;signposted off main 202 road. See more..

Many monkeys (maybe macaques?) live here. No entry fee and there are many place for parking. You can feed the monkeys because opposite the entrance across the road there are some food vendors where you can buy corns and other ones what the monkeys like. 100 THB for a big pack. The monkeys were peaceful and funny. See more..
