- 4.5 Phimai Historical Park (576 reviews)
-Stunning little historical park! Worth a stop!
Monday: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM Spent 2-3 hours Historic Sites • Religious Sites
This 12th-century temple is similar in structure to Angkor Wat. See more..
- 4.5 Khoa Yai and Beyond (156 reviews)
-Best tour ever, best guide, unforgettable moments!!!
Private Tours
The best tour I ever had in my life. We came with my family (2 adults, 3 children) on august 15th 2022 to make a jungle tour and a night safari and we were amazed, Deaw is a passionate guide, he showed us so many things, birds, snakes, scorpios, monkeys and he was kind enough to extend for more than an hour the night safari to make sur sur my family sees the elephants, and he succeed. Thank you so much Deaw!!! I will definitely recommend this tour, really impressive!!! See more..
- 4.5 Terminal 21 Korat (139 reviews)
-Worth a visit for the spectacular decor
Shopping Malls
Visited 3 weeks after the tragic events of February 2020 and all was functioning normally. Each floor is given a theme linked to a city. Paris is the first (ground floor). London in the rain was the theme of the next floor. Tokyo on the top floor. The ground floor toilets are spectacular and must be visited even if you don’t need to go. The gentleman’s’ toilet had the most impressive “Now wash your hands” sign I have ever seen (see photo). See more..
- 4.5 Khao Yai Art Museum (117 reviews)
-A glorious art space-- a highlight of the area
Spent 1-2 hours Speciality Museums
One of the great joys of traveling around Thailand is discovering privately funded non-profit art galleries, and the Khao Yai Art Museum is a real gem. It is a glorious art space featuring paintings, sculptures and installations by famous and not so famous Thai artists. Both indoor and outdoor display areas, the latter beautifully set in delightful gardens. Lovely staff, great little cafe and a terrific shop upstairs See more..
- 4.5 Haew Narok Waterfall (101 reviews)
-Last 60m are steep steps
Monday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Spent 2-3 hours Waterfalls
The walk in was pretty easy at the start, mostly flat slopes, until the last 60m. Multiple flights of treacherous, steep, narrow stone steps. Any misstep could send one rolling down 60m, bound to cause scratches and cuts given the rough and uneven surfaces here. Rewarded with the view of a majestic waterfall, with the wind in the face at the destination. The entire trail took us about an hour to and fro. See more..
- 4.5 Wat Sala Loi (91 reviews)
-Friendly visit to Wat Sala Loi, Korat
Religious Sites
It's always a pleasure visiting this Buddhist temple. Lovely surroundings and many attractions. A person feels at peace visiting there and the waterfall and other small shrines are lovely to view and experience. Say a prayer or just pay some respect by burning some incense, lighting a candle and hanging a small wreath of flowers. It can be bought at the temple for a mere THB20. Highly recommended visiting Korat. See more..
- 4.5 Thep Phithak Punnaram (91 reviews)

Thep Phithak Temple (White Buddha) is wonderful and peaceful. I hiked up to the top to see the White Buddha) in 20 minutes. The mountain views were beautiful. The temple was well maintained and clean. There were peacocks in temple. Recommended. See more..
- 4.5 Wat Ban Rai (87 reviews)
-LP Koon
Spent 2-3 hours Points of Interest & Landmarks • Religious Sites
Wat Ban Rai, a Thai temple where LP Koon is at. Nice and beautiful temple with a lot of statues of Thai Buddha and LP Koon. If you want to see LP Koon, daily he only come out around 2pm. There will be a mass chanted at that time. Everyone will be link up with a white rope, which LP Koon will held on his hand. After the chanted, you can cut the rope and bring back. When taking photo of him, do not use flashlight. Overall a good experience to be at this temple. See more..
- 4.5 Wat Luang Phor Toh (75 reviews)
-Bright temple donated by famous actor
Religious Sites
This templehas been donated and constructed by a famous Thai actor, who later also became monk. On a special Buddhist day we had the opportunity to join their ceremony, walking around the main statue three times (day: Khao Pansa) with him taking the leed. The temple is very nice, well decorated, as well as the surroundings with gardens and ponds. Lokatedon the road from Bangkok to Nakhon Ratachima See more..
- 4.5 Manee Sorn Sunflower Field (50 reviews)
-A Must to Visit in Khao Yai
Spent More than 3 hours Gardens
An enormous sunflower field, few minutes away from the main road of Khao Yai, Thanarat, where you can take pictures with hills as a backdrop. We went there after the blooming season hence they did not collect any entrance fees. But the flowers were still partially blooming. I would recommend this over other fields along the main road you might pass by as this is much larger. Really worth to visit. I would recommend all travelers to check the blooming season with the farm before going as you might be disappointed if the flowers not yet bloomed or visiting during harvesting season. See more..
- 4.5 Wat Non Kum Temple (40 reviews)
-Beautiful in every way
Spent 1-2 hours Religious Sites
This is a modern temple built as his life's work by a much loved Thai actor. It is 95 per finished - 'though the magnificent, well tended gardens and lakes are complete. Beneath a gilded dome the largest building contains a huge golden statue of his holiness Prah Puttajarn (Toh Brahmarangsri), a reverend of Rakang Temple from the reign of king Rama IV. The attention to detail is remarkable and all of the pathways are decorated with inset ceramic flowers. There is no charge but a small donation is welcome. We spent over an hour here before being driven away by a tropical downpour. See more..

- 4.5 Khao Luk Chang Bat Cave (21 reviews)
-Two bat caves near khao yai..
Spent 1-2 hours Caverns & Caves
I think reviews here are about two separate places. I visited the one near Wat Tham sila Thong. Go past the temple to a resort with a large field adjacent. Get there early to see dozens of birds of prey gathering to hunt. Buzzards, sparrowhawks and peregrines (we were told. )The spectacular sight of around 2 million wrinkle lipped bats emerging in streams of swirling patterns and snaking across the sky towards their feeding grounds lasted about an hour as the sky slowly turned red to darkness. The sound of bat wings filled the air.Not many wildlife sights are guaranteed but this one is. Highlight of my time in Khao Yai. Don't miss this. I haven't been to the one at Khao Luk but I imagine it's a similar experience. . See more..

- 4.0 Haew Suwat Waterfall (184 reviews)
-Short Challenging Path To Waterfall
Waterfalls
Seeing the top of the waterfall was not a problem since the lookout point is just a short walk from the carpark. To have a better and closer view of the fall at the bottom, we walked further down a unpaved path to a very steep steps to the rocky bottom. The effort to make it down to the bottom was well rewarded with a good view of the waterfall. Although it is not as grand as other waterfalls, being so close to it still made us excited to hear the roar of the falling water. Walk to the bottom is not very suitable for old folks and small children. See more..

- 4.0 Sai Ngam (69 reviews)
-An impressive tree to see
Spas
This place is wicked! It looks like it could be a perfect setting for the Lord of the Rings! Easily reachable from Phimai (a 15ish minute bike ride), this enormous banyan tree is said to be the largest in all Asia!! And it is 350 years old! It is a great place to have a stroll, sit and enjoy the quiet, eery atmosphere. We were lucky to be the only tourists inside the tunnels of branches that afternoon, with a handful of locals around. There are a couple of small stalls on the other side of the lake where you can buy food. They also sell different types of fish, as well as frogs and turtles, to be released into the water.
