  1. 5.0 Bueng Kan Tours (10 reviews)
    - Awesome day with breathtaking view
Wednesday: 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM Cultural Tours • Private Tours • Nature & Wildlife Tours • Day Trips
    Bueng Kan Tours image
Bueng Kan Tours is the only tour that I could find in Bueng Kan, and the best thing is free pick up and drop off at your hotel. As I wanted to see both Phu Tok and Phu Sing mountains, so I booked a day tour for this including Beung Khong Long Lake where we had our lunch there. It was not the best weather to travel last week due to the ‘uncommonly’ cold weather, but the best thing is you still gotta see the breathtaking view after sweat-free climbing especially way up to Phu Tok Mountain. On the other hand Shane is a great company and he knows all the hidden track/best view of the places we went. And he is a good photographer too, thanks to him I got a few cool shots! I’d book with Bueng Kan Tours if I visit to Issan region again, probably will arrange a personalised trip in other North East part in the future. Thanks to Bueng Kan Tours for the great memory! 2. 5.0 Three Whale Rock (7 reviews)
    - OMG this needs to be a Thailand landmark
    Geologic Formations
    Three Whale Rock image
This place is so breathtaking I’m surprised it’s not more well known. The “3 whales” are 3 gigantic rocks sticking out of a cliff: the Father, Mother & Baby Whales. Visitors can walk out on the Father & Mother, not the Baby. The Father protrudes out furthest and is the narrowest, but strangely it’s not as vertigo inducing as the Mother which is wider but with sloping sides so you are aware you can slip off and fall 300 meters to the valley below! Photo tip is to stand on the Father rock & let someone take the photo from the Mother rock. The rocks are part of a national park complex that has other beautiful spots too, like Elephant Rock, etc. At the ticket office you can rent an entire pickup truck for 500 baht (driven by the park ranger guides) and they have designed stops along the way. This wat is grand with large strange rock formations. It is so close to Laos that you feel you are in Laos. Walk through the rock formations, walk into town and find great food, relax and meditate on the Mekong river waters. See more..
  4. 4.5 Phu Sing Bueng Kan (9 reviews)
    - Newly grand opening Hin Sam Wan( 3 whale shaped rocks phi Sing National park
Spent More than 3 hours Mountains
    Phu Sing Bueng Kan image
This unseen, newly opened tourist attraction in Bueng Kan , highlighted with Hin Sam Wan (whale shaped rocks). It’s in Phu Sing National park, so it’s about 1 hrs drive from Muang Bueng kan , parking your vehicle at provided space then contacting the officer for 4 wheeled drive car to tour on Phusing with price500baht/car. Car accommodates 4 people at front and about 6-10 pax on back. First stop is view point to inspire panoramic view of lower plain and if you come early at 5am in the morning , it’s spot for seeing sunrise among clouds. Nearby highlight Hin Sam Wan(3 whale shaped rocks) is on waking distance, we can go on 2 father and mother whale rocks, it’s cool upthere but too hot and sweaty among sunlight. After that, hopping on car to next stop Phu Sing gate, it’s natural colummns of rocks where cool breeze flow through with view of forest. The last stop is sacred well ( Sang). It’s very amazing.
