On the day we visited it was very warm and there were lots of families enjoying picnics on the spacious beach. The beach was spotlessly clean, the sand was soft and the sea was turquoise blue with clear water. At the beach we spoke to a local couple who said that in the summer the beach is very busy with inflatables in the sea and it is possible to hire sunbeds and umbrellas as well as participating in water sports such as kayaking or canoeing. On the beach there were several beach bars and showers. See more..

This is worth looking for, hidden in a square very near the central market building. We stopped and poked our head in and asked to buy beer on tap. What a treat! We tried all 3 beers on tap and were given some snacks as well, perfect to go with the beer. Their is no seating inside as full of production so tall table and stools were placed under the awning outside.
