Statue of Hercules
What an impressive work of art. A definite photo op from many angles. This statue is not that old, erected around 2006 but it is a gargantuan work of art that was built to mark the land of Africa where Hercules marked his pillars separating Europe and Africa. This monument symbolizes the separation of the two continents. The story may be a myth but it is certainly a noteworthy tale.

Everyone was vying to get a photo of just themselves between his legs.
HE stands out for miles around. If you come from the port / marina you certainly can't miss this monsterous feature. It brings a smile to everyone's face. Loved it.
