In February 2023 we visited Ceuta and spent some time on Playa de la Ribera. The beach was a short walk from the centre of Ceuta, which was beautiful with parks, fountains, plazas, museums, monuments and historical buildings including the House of Dragons, the Cathedral,, the fort, Murallas Reales de Ceuta, the Triumphal arch, Faro Punta Almin lighthouse and Fuerte del Desnarigado fort. On the day we visited it was very warm and there were lots of families enjoying picnics on the spacious beach. The beach was spotlessly clean, the sand was soft and the sea was turquoise blue with clear water. At the beach we spoke to a local couple who said that in the summer the beach is very busy with inflatables in the sea and it is possible to hire sunbeds and umbrellas as well as participating in water sports such as kayaking or canoeing. On the beach there were several beach bars and showers.See more..
3.5Cala del Desnarigado(15 reviews) - Un rincón con encanto. Spent < 1 hour Beaches
See more..

On the day we visited it was very warm and there were lots of families, couples and large groups enjoying picnics on the spacious beach. The 1200 meter sandy beach was spotlessly clean with clear Mediterranean water. Whilst in Ceuta we spoke to a local couple who said that in the summer the beach is very busy with beach bars, inflatables in the sea and it is possible to hire sunbeds and umbrellas, as well as participating in water sports such as kayaking or canoeing.See more..
4.0Playa de Benzú(8 reviews) - Very interesting site Spent < 1 hour Beaches
This is not a proper beach, swimming and sun worhipping place. Once open border is now closed as you see it. Still some try to pass it. Perhaps this is a place for reflecting.See more..
